Kitten Update! 🐾🐈
We have 5 healthy kittens 💛 Mum went into labour around 11pm, and the last baby arrived around 3am — a long night but she handled it amazingly. 💕 There was a moment it all started where she was a bit unsettled, moving around and trying to get comfortable, and then instinct just took over. She’s been incredible throughout — calm, attentive, and completely focused on her babies. Lots of cleaning, lots of purring, and staying really close to them.💕 She’s even got up briefly to eat, which feels like a really good sign that she’s settled and recovering well.🐾 They’re all tucked up now, quiet and content, and she’s settled in beautifully with them. No runts, all look strong and healthy 🥹 Honestly a bit of an emotional (and slightly chaotic night - especially when she started in my big monstera plant pot!!) but seeing her now with them all safe makes it all worth it!

There are times i spend a lot of time disregulated. I am aware of that. But today, as I was people watching , I noticed I was completely calm inside. I didn't feel any anxiety with things they were doing. no irritation at things that often annoy me. Just calm. not overly anxious and also not overly joyful.... just calm. my breath seemed to flow easier and i could process my surroundings well. all in all a good day. Have you checked in with yourself recently?
