Free Legit Reviews
Have you guys ever hear of GoodNightReads? https://goodnightreads.co/reader-info-referred-by?recordId=recoqEeNlxIgMbV94 That is my referral link. It simply gives you readers who review your book in exchange for you reading other books. It’s kind of like a barter system and no money is exchanged! By clicking on my referral, I’ll receive credits for more books to be read! Here is an example of a review I recently received! And reviewers will often share it to Goodreads as well!

@Nick Nebelsky If we’re talking about a minority percentage, then unverified reviews are fine, but the key is that the majority should be tied to real purchases. I have access to a large amount of data, so trust that I know what I’m talking about. Otherwise, I agree with you. Amazon has been particularly unpredictable in recent months. But that’s exactly why it’s better to stay cautious.

@Nick Nebelsky Receiving verified paid purchases also sends a clear signal to Amazon that people are willing to pay to read your book. When you start running ads, you’ll notice that Amazon generates impressions more quickly compared to when you have zero or very few purchases.
Struggling to Get Reviews on Your Book?
One of the biggest challenges most authors face isn’t writing the book… it’s getting reviews on it. And if you’ve ever tried, you already know....it’s not easy. It usually looks like: Reaching out to people one by one… Following up (multiple times)… Hoping they actually read your book… And then still ending up with little to show for it I’ve been there more times than I can count. It tests your patience REAL quick. But I will say… it does work if you stay consistent. ➡️ That said, there is an easier way. If you want to speed things up, I recommend checking out BookVillage. It’s a platform built specifically to help authors get legitimate book reviews by connecting you with real readers who are actually interested in your type of book. Instead of chasing people down, you’re putting your book in front of readers who are already there to review books. Here’s why I like it: - You get access to a network of active readers - It removes a lot of the manual outreach - It helps you build early traction faster (which Amazon loves) 🎉 TRY BOOKVILLAGE TODAY! 🚀 And right now, you can test it out with a free trial + discount, which makes it a no-brainer to at least try. If getting reviews has been slowing you down, this could save you a LOT of time and frustration. Pro Tip: Don’t rely on just one method. Use platforms like this, plus your own outreach (email list, social, community, etc.), to stack reviews faster. If you’ve struggled with reviews before, drop a comment...I want to hear what’s been the hardest part for you 👇

@Hannah Janeth Hi, be very careful about who you rely on and what strategies they use to help you accumulate reviews. Amazon is very aggressive at the moment, and the key priority is protecting the safety of your books and your KDP account.

@Ciska Venter I’m not sure which platforms you’ve used, but in reality, most users are typically non-fiction authors, including those writing business books. BookVillage may appear similar to other platforms at first, but it has structural differences mainly focused on the safety of your books and your KDP account, as well as maintaining a constant balance between those who want to receive reviews and those who want to post them. For general questions, I also encourage you to post in our Skool community so that both your question and my answer can be helpful to many other users. For more specific questions about your account, you can contact our email support directly.

3 Ways to Get More Book Reviews
If your book isn’t getting reviews yet… It’s going to be really hard to get consistent sales. Reviews are what build trust, and trust is what gets people to actually click “buy.” In this video, I walk through what’s actually working right now, from launch strategies to simple tweaks inside your book to one method that makes getting reviews way easier (and most authors aren’t even using it yet). 1. The Book Launch Method - Giving early readers your manuscript 2. QR Codes - Using QR codes driving users back to your review page 3. Bookvillage - @Adriano Ferrigno has a book review platform designed to help authors get book reviews in a way that is Amazon-compliant to get VERIFIED PAID REVIEWS! If getting reviews has been a struggle for you, you’ll definitely want to watch this one. You can get a BOOK VILLAGE account here, and for a limited time, you're getting a 30-day free trial AND a 25% discount. After you watch, let me know—which strategy are you going to try first?

@Michael Wish It’s not exactly similar to BookReverb. It is more based on posting reviews in order to receive reviews on your own books, but in a way that solves all the problems of other similar platforms. BookVillage is the safest and most cost-effective service to receive reviews for your books. We also have a dedicated Skool community where we answer all questions, and you can also contact us by email through support if you would like to be guided directly by us. In a few days there will be a price increase, and those who join now will have the opportunity to lock in their subscription price as long as they continue renewing. If you have any other specific questions, just let me know.

@Gemma Coles Hi Gemma, I believe I’ve already seen one of your comments in our community. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
Amazon Book Reviews Disappearing?
Reviews have officially become the hottest topic in every author space right now… and for good reason. Across KDP communities, people are seeing reviews disappear, books getting flagged, and in more serious cases, accounts being blocked. What’s interesting is that many of these authors aren’t trying to “game” the system. They’re simply asking for honest reviews — which we all need to build trust and increase conversions. Something has shifted. My personal theory? Amazon’s automation (likely AI-driven moderation) is getting more aggressive about detecting patterns that look suspicious — repetitive wording, coordinated activity, review swaps, or even overly polished copy. Whether intentional or not, the system is clearly tightening. I recorded a full YouTube breakdown explaining the 3 levels of review trouble, what Amazon officially allows, what’s risky, and how to protect your account long term. If you care about building sustainable income from your books, this is worth watching. Link below 👇

@Krista Brea Basically, in our database we store all the review links that get posted, organized by each reviewer account, and we periodically run checks to verify them again. In addition to that, we have a fake reviewer detection system, which is a combination of automated and manual processes that allows us to identify whether virtual assistants are posting fake reviews. The reason we are able to detect them is because we know exactly how these accounts are created and where they are sourced from. In our Wiki section, we have written extensive information about this. We have been in the market for several months now, and if you check the largest publishing communities here on Skool, you will find dozens and dozens of feedback entries. The key requirement to ensure the right experience is to both post and receive verified paid reviews. That is all we ask from our users, while we take care of everything else. And of course, not overdoing it with the number of reviews posted each week is equally important. Once you start using the platform, within a few days you become familiar with how everything works. We also have a Skool support community where we answer all questions, even those not directly related to BookVillage, because unlike others, we want to make you fully aware so you can think independently.
