The Small Town Project is a community-driven initiative bringing fitness classes and health-focused programmes to rural areas across Galway. We currently operate in 7 towns and support over 150 active members, with a strong focus on accessibility, community, and long-term health. As we continue to grow, we’re looking to bring on a Group Fitness Instructor to help expand into new areas, deliver classes in existing locations, and support our online coaching clients. The Role This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into a full-time role. You’ll be responsible for: Coaching group fitness classes in community halls across Galway Supporting expansion into new towns and locations Assisting with coaching online clients working towards weight loss and fitness goals Creating a positive, welcoming, and motivating environment for all ability levels Who We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is: High energy and confident coaching groups Genuinely passionate about helping people succeed Open to learning, feedback, and growing as a coach Comfortable working mostly evenings Reliable, organised, and professional Experience teaching group fitness is desirable but not essential. Full support and onboarding will be provided for the right person.
