Hi from L.A. 👋 I probably have a different background than most here. I made a career change last year to become a certified and licensed pharmacy technician, but I’m not working right now. I also realized that’s not a job I want, but I understand HIPAA, GDPR, and other regulations so I’m looking to pivot into data privacy, compliance, and GRC in healthcare. I’d still love to work in a hospital, trial, or oncology infusion center but I’m open to any clinical or industry environment. I’m also the Regulatory & Legislative Group lead in the CSHP AI advisory council. I’ve been tracking new California legislation related to AI in pharmacy practice, but I’m also interested in how AI can be used to help protect patient data and how AI impacts the risk of privacy breaches. Favorite fun fact: my second cousin is Ben Schwartz. He’s the voice of BB-8 in Star Wars, Sonic the Hedgehog, played Jean-Ralphio in Parks & Rec and many other things.
