Birth Year Watch?
Is a birth year watch a big deal to anyone else? While I have many watches in my collection, I do not have a birth year — I’ve been contemplating one, although recently I’ve been contemplating my son’s birth year (…slightly newer) and something that will have additional meaning for him when I pass it down. I’m interested in others’ thoughts, as I’m still a bit undecided…

@Darren Poesel I appreciate the feedback and insight — those are exactly the reasons that I’m considering it — now the question is, do I buy a watch my style or his?… he’s only 15 and still developing his personal style, so I fear his taste in watches may change, so I am looking for something classic and timeless.

White Dial Wednesday - Seiko SARB035
Recently new-to-me, the SARB035 “baby Grand Seiko” has had much wrist time. I absolutely love the look of it.

I really enjoy this watch. Its sharp clean lines are simple and elegant and the unusual Day-AM/PM complication sets it apart.

@Robert Irwin yes - it’s always interesting to see similar style cross brands — you Orient hands, my Seiko and GS… all very similar
