For those participating in the ad challenge, this post of for YOU 🫵 *if you want to participate, check out my latest post in the News category* When creating a Meta/Instagram ad, the most important part is the graphic or video you use. This is what gets people to stop 🛑 scrolling and read the rest of your ad. Here’s a hack to create an eye-catching ad graphic👇 Use simple and powerful language 📣 Remember, you can add all the context and information in the text above the graphic. Your graphic has one job: captivate the scroller so they stop scrolling! Here are a few examples👇

ADS CHALLENGE - LET'S DO THIS 🔥🔥🔥
Who's ready for the ads challenge?! 🙌 As a reminder, here is what the challenge will entail...👇 You will create a mock Meta ad for your business. Use this Google Doc to create the ad. PLEASE MAKE A COPY BEFORE FILLING IT OUT. You will have one week (starting today) to fill out the form and DM it to me. I will then have a friend of mine who runs his own ads agency be the judge on who the winner is. They will judge based on creativity and the overall copy quality of the ad. WHAT WILL THE WINNER WIN?! 🏆 🤑 $100 AND 🚀 A free 30-minute call with Devon (the Skool ads guy) No joke, y'all. This challenge is the real deal. @Maiia Zlotnikova, one of our lovely community members is a copywriter specializing in ad copy and was gracious enough to provide a few resources to anyone who wants to participate in the challenge. Here is a quick video tutorial on what makes a high-converting ad. And here is Maiia's ad checklist she uses for her ads and her client's ads. Join her community: https://www.skool.com/skool-ad-writers-3323 Tagging everyone who responded to the post a week ago and said they are interested in the challenge: @Jason Flamm, @Daniel Dick, @Kingsley Frederick, @Jon Myers, @Diane Fulmer, @Enkhbold Gantumur, @Abdulla Nabhan, @Copywriting Pikachoo. WHO ELSE IS IN?! Let me know in the comments how PUMPED you are👇🔥🕺

Dope Meta Ads
Saw some great Meta ads last night. All were very clear in their messaging, had eye catching colors, and prices clearly listed. Who in this community has experience running Meta ads? What are your thoughts on these?

Don’t use “special” language in your copy
What do I mean by this? If your business has unique words and phrases, don’t use them in your copy. There’s nothing wrong with having a unique way you brand yourself and your services. But… When you’re writing copy (ads, sales pages, emails, etc) make your language simple by using words that everyone can understand. I was on a call with Ted Carr a few weeks ago and he was reviewing a Skool About page. This About page had a few words and phrases in it that only made sense to the community owners because it was “how they described XYZ” Ted told them what I just told y’all. Use simple language for any copy/content that is used to introduce people to your brand and business ✍️

Makes complete sense. We have to write as if people have no clue about what we are saying
