Don’t use “special” language in your copy
What do I mean by this?
If your business has unique words and phrases, don’t use them in your copy.
There’s nothing wrong with having a unique way you brand yourself and your services.
But…
When you’re writing copy (ads, sales pages, emails, etc) make your language simple by using words that everyone can understand.
I was on a call with Ted Carr a few weeks ago and he was reviewing a Skool About page. This About page had a few words and phrases in it that only made sense to the community owners because it was “how they described XYZ”
Ted told them what I just told y’all.
Use simple language for any copy/content that is used to introduce people to your brand and business ✍️
