One of my favourite things to watch in this space is how quickly people go from “just joined” → to actually being seen. Because it isn't about one person teaching - this group isn't about me. It's about the room! All of you showing up - asking questions - sharing what's working - replying to each other. @Jen Fieldman It's been about a decade since I've moved away, but I'm still there at least 1-2x a year to visit the fam, and I remain a proud Minnesotan/previous Gopher regardless :-) I used to do quite a bit of moving around, but these days I'm based a little more than half the year in beautiful Boise, Idaho (and the rest of the time elsewhere in the world). Love the focus on audience + research! As a copywriter, I could probably harp on about the importance of voice-of-customer research until I was blue in the face, so we're definitely of a like mind 😅 An open-ended "get to know your audience" Q&A could definitely be something to try... though I wonder if there might be a way to offer a more targeted outcome? I suppose it depends on which stage of the process you help people with, though. As in, is it identifying their audience in the first place? Or is it more about conducting the research (or making sense of the research if they already have it) after the fact?

@Jen Fieldman Admittedly, I am back visiting quite often so who knows! Whereabouts in MN are you? I usually spend my time in MSP + Winona (where my family lives). Given their more intensive nature, it definitely makes sense that designing research + going through research would be paid services. Unless there was a way you could offer a "taster" during one of these low-ticket sessions (maybe like one actionable insight based on their research)? Totally understand if that's not possible within the scope of something like this, but just some food for thought. Regardless, would love to hear what you end up landing on!

Hi all - excited to be here after joining @Kylie Kelly for the most incredible VIP day a couple of weeks ago! I'm Nicole, a conversion copywriter & messaging strategist for entrepreneurs & experts who want to sell without the sleaze, manufactured sales pressure, or excessive exclamation points. This always gets me a bit of a side-eye, but I love fun facts (so share yours in the comments!).
