The Income Illusion Assignment as a Home Health DPT, Grad Date 05/2017
Assignment #1: My biggest takeaway are - don't let fear of the various questions I have related to making money stop me from taking the first step and just trying the methods that will be taught to me through this program as it has proven to work by many members. Assignment #2: My biggest concern/challenge is the fact that for the first time in my life I have some level of financial stability with benefits that will be allow me to take care of my family and self as a sole provoder. There is still that fear of the unknown but I feel lile I have more courage to try something instead of just thinking.

The Cash DPT Rookie Assignment as a Home Health DPT, 7 Years out of School
Assignment #1: My biggest takeaway is: - I don't need to have everything be perfect before I start. - Having the right mindset and developing business skills will translate to eventual success - To not fear failures in the process but rather takes those opportunities to learn, adapt, and improve Assignment #2: My biggest concern/challenge is the lack of business management knowledge but my hope is to learn it through this course.

📍START HERE: Why Are You Here?
Before every course I take, before every big event, before anything I know could change my life—I do this one thing. A mentor once told me: “Never walk into a room where you’re meant to grow without first deciding why you’re walking in.” That advice stuck with me. Because without clear intentions, it’s easy to get overwhelmed, distracted, or even give up. But when you write them down first, it becomes a Filter. You don’t just watch content — you hunt for what matters to you. So that’s what I’m asking you to do right now. 👉Comment below and answer these 3 questions: - Why did you join this community? (What caught your attention? What made you say, “I need this”?) - What are you hoping to learn or change here? (Think big picture — mindset, income, lifestyle, skillset, etc.) - What’s the #1 question on your mind right now? (What’s keeping you stuck, curious, or needing clarity?) 💡This is more than just a comment. It’s your first real move. When you write this out, you’ll find that your mind starts paying closer attention to what matters most to you. I’ll be reading every comment. Let’s go.

1) To be honest, I'm appreciative of the fact that this is free and no membership requiring thousands of dollars that I cant afford to dish out. I'm tired of having no worklife balance, working hard but being limited by various things that comes with working for a company. 2) I want to be able to earn more so I can do more with my wealth than just barely making it monthly...lile support my family and relatives, go on trips with family, a lot of charity, actually have a savings for myself and children's future. I want to be able to have more time to spend with my wife and 5 kids, spend time with family, be able to have time to participate in extracurricular activities. 3) I have a steady income every month that is just helping me take care of my family. I just cant stop that and take a gamble to attempt a business venture. But it's a dream of mine to start cash based PT. Given time and limited resources, I dont know where to start. Additionally, given where I live, its not the wealthiest place and I'm wondering how will I be able to get cash clients consistently.

@Jordan Mather Thank you Jordan. Appreciate your reply and clarifying/addressing some of the concerns I had.

Where are you from? - I am from Hayward, CA in the Bay Area. What stage is your practice at (financial or # of patients/month)? - I currently work in the home health setting for major Hospital System as an hourly paid employee. What are you looking to learn? - How to transition from full-time job as an employee in home health setting to owning/running my own cash-based clinic/company given all my current tight financial responsibilities of taking care of my family - Given the standard of living and costs of living in Bay Area, CA, what are appropriate prices for different types of visits and bundles - What are different types of bundles that can be offered.
