It's never too late to start. Choose a software according to your system specs and personal liking. Find a YouTuber who teaches that software. Go through his entire YouTube channel. Keep practicing and do a test project each weekend. It will take 4 month to 8 month to get at intermediate level. Becoming master will take really good time.

Hi everyone! I’m Mahnoor. I’m learning front-end development and excited to start my freelancing journey. As a beginner, I want to focus on the right skills and strategies to grow quickly. Which skills, tools, or practices helped you succeed early in your front-end freelancing career?

A CS Graduate Not an experienced with field. After Integration of AI coding becomes comparatively easy having said that yo still need to work on basics concepts as they saves you all the time. You need to pick the technology stack for front end. Currently MERN, MEAN are quite popular. You can start by learning HTML then go for CSS. after these 2 you need to learn JavaScript (JS). JS is the most important part so far in this road map. I am considering that you know at least 1 programing language and core concepts of programing as well like (OOP, DS etc). You can check videos of CodewithHarry, ApnaCollege YT channel for learning. You can also ask ChatGPT for custom road map. This should not take more than 8 months. You can do it in even in 4 months as well. If you take more than 8 months than clearly you weren't serious to get into tech world. Real Life example : My neice learned front end in 8 months after passing college and no prior knowledge of programming. Before going to Uni she learned all.

@Mahnoor Nadeem You can go either way. I would suggest you to do following If you are watching a YouTube video. Open Notebook LM (AI tool by Google). Use it for creating mind maps, quizzes etc. You should do exercises and small projects. Open chatGPT and list all the concepts that you learned so far. Ask chatGPT to create a small assignment project for you so you can test your abilities. You can learn 5 days and do the test project on weekends. This way you'll be having a clear deadline of project. Here is the website I am mentioning currently it's expensive but you can check time to time for discounts. Few months ago there was 80% OFF. https://codewithmosh.com/p/all-access Why should you buy a course? If you go to universities and try to learn programming they charge you around Million for the degree but you need to learn on your own by YT or paid courses like these. So it's a worth Investing. Why not YT but Paid Course? YouTube is free so we really don't bother to pay attention so paid course have more chance to retain the student. Other reason is that YouTube take a lot of time to search he right video and we can't find a clear road map. Which Course should you buy? You can check courses on eDx, Coursera and Udemy. Check who is the instructor. Search his LinkedIn profile and find where he worked in past life. past companies and also find the reviews section. Choose a technology stack and find which company created it. Then find a course by that company's employee. What I would do if I were you? I would head to one of these website and find a course for myself. I won't watch YouTube at all. I would learn MERN. I would find the person who have worked at Facebook in past and I would buy his course as React (Used for Frontend) is developed by Facebook and now it's available for developer to use. Most likely I would buy Mosh Entire course line (on discount) as he also covers Fundamentals which are essentials for you who is a beginner.
Microphone Recommendation
I started my content creation journey and I want a budget friendly microphone for me. I started from short-form content and I do voice overs. So I want a mic which is suitable for that. Can I get a mic within 2000 Rps which just catches my voice and not the background noise (vehicles etc). It could be any kind like wirless(preferred) or wired. Right now I record on my mobile's microphone it's pretty good but it catches the background noise.

As you're beginner and I recommend keep using mobile microphone and you can clean your audio using Adobe Podcast. Just clean it and use it. Investing on equipment is a good approach. I am not discouraging it but you can wait for the results (Income) through this channel to start investing in it. Here's an extensive video on Mics. Gather information and enough budget to get a dream mic. https://youtu.be/E23Vh42EN58?si=jFnFEYEEkWGbZaHL
Freelancing + Uni = Survival Mode?
Tbh I feel like juggling uni and freelancing is harder than the actual client work 😂.Classes, assignments, then clients asking for revisions at 2 AM… it sometimes feels like living two lives. I personally took a gap year to fully focus on freelancing because I knew I couldn’t manage both. But I’m super curious… Are you guys managing uni + freelancing together, or are you also on a gap year like me?

Many friends of mine did this I started freelancing after Uni. The guy who secured a gold medal was doing a job while in 3ed semester. Itbwas really hard for him but after degree we were looking for jobs and he was saying NO to our dream corporate jobs. Only because he had 3 years of experience. So keep doing freelancing, you're going to uni to get a degree that can land you job, what's better than self employment/ business.
