Hi my name is Abby and I am from the great state of Minnesota. It has been 36 hrs since my last sauna. I live in the city now but grew up in a small Finnish community called New York Mills where everyone had a sauna and Saturday was family sauna night. When I was growing up my family published the only Finnish language newspaper in the US so I come by my love of sauna through my childhood. All things were celebrated, mourned or worked through in the sauna in my family. As an adult I travel a lot for work and fun and always make a point to seek out cool sauna experiences and it has enriched and grown my life exponentially. I just love it and want more people to discover the magic of sauna. Been thinking when I retire taking people on international sauna retreat trips could be really fun.
