😤 Did my first BPM recording! Granted I was calm before starting, and may have been a little longer on the in and exhale than normal, but not by much. BPM on 4/15 - Five

😎 NEW TOY!!!
Purchased a new camera today team! I recently left AT&T and had to return my fancy schmancy Galaxy S25 Ultra, and I consistently post videos on social media. The phone I got with the new provider is cool, but the camera is noticeably worse. So I decided to invest in myself and get this ⬇️. Very excited to record and edit videos about physiology for my YouTube channel!

Book Club: Rescheduled 📖💪
Team, I'm going to suggest that we reschedule the book club meeting to a time that more members are able to attend. The discussion on Blueprint by Robert Plomin has powerful implications for our shared knowledge as an organization as it fundamentally challenges the idea that millions of kids are "disordered" simply for being themselves, or for not fitting conveniently into unhealthy environments. Perhaps a once per month large group, or a tab for ongoing discussion if we can't meet face to face would be best? Now that we have more members on the platform and more joining soon we can make the book club a core part of our program and unite the community members globally who don't always get to connect with one another. Let's hold off today and I'll send an email to everyone this weekend with a few proposals for how we can build the Physiology First Book Club into a fun, team building initiative that levels up our knowledge and makes the team stronger through the process💪🔥 Open to any and all ideas in the meantime and will connect via email to put a book club plan together for the Spring and Summer!

Sweet! I am in what we call a "Life Group" at my church here in Florida. We have been meeting weekly to discuss a book by Dr. Caroline Leaf and complete the exercises in the corresponding workbook. It's called, "Switch On Your Brain." Very interesting book about neuroplasticity and how to use Scripture to replace the negative thoughts that so often spring up. Science meets emotional and spiritual well-being! Looking forward to discussing a meet time for us. 🙏
Anything Else?
Hi guys! I went to the classroom, and watched the video about breath and read the text. Is that the only assignment for the week or...? I'm a newbie and need assistance.

@Darren Bailey I didn't see 7 lessons. That's why I was confused. I'll go back and check it out. Maybe I missed something.

@David Bidler I go to the Classroom tab, then tap Physiology First Foundations. Then I see a list of linka for breath, sleep, etc. I tap on breath, then a screen with an embedded video (3:48 minutes in length) pops up and a long graphic with text material to read. I see nothing at the bottom of the text. The only other thing I saw was a "Next" at the bottom of the embedded video. But when I tap that, it takes me to the sleep video.
Health Mentor Program starts tomorrow! 🧠💪🌱
Team, This Sunday we kick off an important evolution at Physiology First. Our Health Mentor Program will bring together parents and community leaders from across the globe🌎 We'll focus on the Physiology First Foundations each week. Week One: Foundations of Breath🫁 Week Two: Foundations of Sleep💤 Week Three: Foundations of Exercise🏋🏽‍♀️ Week Four: Foundations of Nutrition🥗 Week Five: Foundations of Brain Health🧠 @Darren Bailey owner of Physiology First Riverina will be helping to lead the program. If you've been through the Level One Certification and are interested in honing your communication skills please shoot me a DM! As covered in Week One of the Certification Program the most valuable skills in health education will be a.) communication b.) community building c.) personalization and d.) data integration. The learning for any of us doesn't come from PDF's or zoom calls - it comes from putting the information from those mediums into ACTION and turning knowledge into wisdom. Right now, today, everyone who has been through the Certification Program has the opportunity to earn money and create a wave of social impact by simply sharing the Physiology First Foundations with schools, companies, and organizations in your community. As long as you're actively out there - holding community workshops, strengthening your communication skills, and putting in the reps💪 Helping out with the Health Mentor Program is a phenomenal way to strengthen your communication skills and deepen your knowledge base. Also - the program is 100% open for Certification Members to participate in. You'll deepen your knowledge in all area of physiology and have some fun challenges and experiential learning opportunities in the weeks ahead. Looking forward to onboarding our mentors into the platform on Sunday and kicking this new initiative off with a week long deep dive into The Foundations of Breath! Live meetings will be on Thursdays at 8pm UK along with a possible second meeting hosted by @Darren Bailey that makes it easier for our Australian peeps as well as anyone available in the early morning or late evening UK time to hop on👊🏽
