Well, I will begin with a sincere thank You to @Jennifer Turner and @Dr. Stephanie Murauskas for the invitation to this group. In gauging the collective strength in this group, I am certain that I will learn a lot. My name is Aaron but I go by Moose. I am a retired Police Officer who served in my departments leadership (staff and command) prior to separating. Since then I have worked in senior and executive level positions in the government and private contract security industry. Outside of my traditional work, which I affectionately call Job No. 1, I work as a Head Wrestling Coach at a local Catholic high school and assistant coach serving both varsity football and girls flag football (Job 2). After that I spend time as a coach, directing youth athletic development at a private wrestling & MMA facility. Finally, and most important to me, I am the operator of Moose Strong Training. MST is a passion project for me that I aim to make my full time job as a small business owner. We are a personal development firm with a unique and passionate brand. Too many “coaches” in the space lack the real world experience and critical skills needed to guide and support others. We are the pick up the phone and hold you accountable brand that endeavors for holistic growth. I am committing the next 3 months to this learning. Whatever I learn here will be applied in MST. I aim to give more than I receive so if I miss engagement for a day, call me out. I want to learn from all of you, and hopefully provide some wisdom in return.
