Who's here? Drop your intro.
Tell us three things: 1. What you do (job, industry, student, career-changer, whatever) 2. What brought you to Clief Notes 3. One thing you're trying to figure out right now related to computing or AI I'll respond to every single one. And read each other's intros too because the person who's stuck on the same problem as you might already be in this thread. I'll go first I am Jake, I have been working in tech for 15 Years, building with Generative AI for 3 Years straight now! Excited to teach and learn! That's it. Simple, scannable, gives you data on who's joining and what they need, and keeps the feed clear for content that retains people past week one.

@Patrice Ferguson here are a few that will help with that. Go through the ICM training in classroom, @Jake Van Clief's system is perfect for workspaces, creative workflows, production pipelines and maintaining clear context across sessions.
From AI Chaos to Actual Direction — This Course Changed Everything
WOW!!! My AI use went from feeling like ADHD fuel and constant scattered rabbit trails… to actually being dialed in and intentional after just a few days of finding this course. Before this, I was bouncing between ideas, tools, chats, prompts, and unfinished systems. I knew AI was powerful, but I was mostly using it reactively instead of strategically. Now I finally feel like I’m building a real operating system around my work, projects, and thinking — especially using Claude Code and ICM principles together. Honestly, this already feels like one of those turning points where you realize: “Yeah… this is going to fundamentally change how I operate.” My life is changed. I can feel it. Thank you.

@Andrew Begley I'd like to see weekly review. also, Staff & Stone is a great brand name!
Agent Rules?
have you written structured rules for your agents? interested in seeing what I may be missing, though this has greatly cut down on re-explaining and re-working. (not actual pipeline stages, parallel execution routes based on needs in each new session)

@Marty McCoy are you on 5x or 20x?
I’ve created folder structures. What’s next?
Laying this out for discussion. I created folders and structures for a content creation project - churn out a reel every week. What do we do after this? Do we just run the folders under claude co-work/code to churn out the results? I’m assuming this doesn’t require coding any scripts. And when does PRD come in? Purely for coding projects? And how does it interact with the folder structures?

Built my foundation ICM, this is next phase development. I'm not seeing any lessons on adding python or scripts, are there any in classroom?

@Adrian Chen nice!
Second Brain 🧠?
Apologies if this topic has already been covered. My thought was to have Jake’s folder structure as my main Ai Operating System and then have a wiki or second brain where I can dump thoughts, ideas, past decisions, mistakes, lessons etc. Combining Jake and Karpathys concepts into one. The second brain knowledge base would be called on when needed for tasks that I call within the folder structure. Bear with me if I’ve gotten some concepts or terms wrong - still learning lots about all of this stuff 😳🤯 Does this make sense or am I missing something important here?

@Kevin Alldread I solved that with turborepo architecture and Jake’s context/claude files. A little schema goes a long way…

@Kevin Alldread I use it alongside Antigravity, I like the interface better for md files and search / graph traversal. Agents write to notes, changelog and dashboard each session so I can use more credits on planning and development.
