Definitely recommend taking Franklins advice and just sit in on the municipality’s planning meeting. I sat in one and got to hear the struggles of the growing community, the objections from counsel, introduce myself to the committee informally (without an agenda), and find out the plans for the community. Such a wealth of knowledge before I present my plans to improve the community. Things to address when I’m added to the agenda. I second the recommendation to learn about the community you’re planning on developing in!

Just wanted to vocalize the value I'm already seeing from 4 weeks of training! I called and spoke with a very reputable lawyer in the ATL market who ONLY specializes in land deals. We spoke on the phone for a few minutes and he asked how long I had been working in land deals and I told him this would be my first deal. He was blown away I hadn't even completed a deal with the amount of knowledge I was spitting. Needless to say, I appreciate the high caliber level of knowledge this course has provided thus far! Looking to close 2-3 deals before October is done!
