Hi guys. I am Alex. I started out as a rapper when I was 15. Made and dropped a few hip-hop songs. But around the age of 20, I started discovering rock and metal. Picked up guitar for the first time at 22. It was a low cost electric guitar starter kit. Since then, I have been practicing for almost 4 years now, but mostly in my bedroom. I was working and practicing at same time. Though, the practice was mostly consistent but not super focused. I am mostly self taught but had a guitar coach for some months in between. Recently in Feb, I joined a community for intermediate guitarists. This year I also left my job to pursue music as career. I feel incomplete without being able to sing my fuckin heart out in the best possible way. So here I am, wanting to learn singing seriously. And above all, step into jamming and performing on stage. I am mostly into grunge and alternative singing style and I wanna develop my voice for that, period. Trying to develop the discipline for practicing hours in a day if needed. Besides sharing and jamming in the community, I am in search of a mentor who can push my limits to bring the best out of me, being as honest as possible.
