That depends on your audience and what you’re doing(: If your entire customer base lives in Skool, and you post newsletter style updates in your community… You might not need anything else. If you have leads coming from YouTube and Facebook and they aren’t on Skool, in order to decrease the friction there it can be helpful to get their info with a freebie and add them to a nurture sequence. Then when they’re nurtured, they’ll join your group! Personally, I have both. What do you do?

If you want to do email marketing in GHL I learned there's something important you have to do first... Use a subdomain for your email campaign! This means if your actually domain is like corndoglady .com you would use one like eat.corndoglady .com This protects your email from getting "burned" which means automatically marked as spam. Thankfully I learned this WITHOUT getting burned first haha. Who here is using GHL for email marketing?
