Daily Knitting Myth
Myth: Hand-dyed yarn is always superior Fact: Hand-dyed yarn can be beautiful, but commercially dyed yarns often offer better consistency, colour matching, and value.

I have never used hand-dyed yarn. It's just never been cost efficient for me. I never thought about color consistency of it, even if it's dyed from the same batch of color I suppose there could still be some inconsistency.

@Amanda Berridge I agree! I have tried to fix dropped stitches, and if I catch it immediately, I can sometimes fix it if there is not another row to fiddle it through. But if I don't see it, and it goes along for several rows, I would rather just frog the project and start over. My "fixed" dropped and tucked stitches look terrible! I just have not been able to figure out how to fix them properly.
I found it when I wasn’t looking
12 days ago I asked if anyone weighed their creations and mentioned I couldn’t find my kitchen scale. Thanks to @Tina Bryner and @Susan Weller for their suggestion to stop looking, I would probably find it when I was looking for something else. Well that’s exactly what happened. It was time for me to refill my daily pill container, and when I opened the drawer, all I could say was OMG (2x). I couldn’t believe it was there. I immediately weighed a beanie and took a picture. When I went to post today, the picture looked a little dark. So I tried again today. Every time I put the beanie on the scale I get a different result. Is it worth it to get another? @Kim Thompson-Pinder @Paul Brown what do you use?

I use a digital scale I got from Amazon. It is an Amazon Basics brand. It can weigh things from 0.1 ounces up to 65 pounds. I always set it on the same part of the counter (so weighing is always consistent) and make sure it’s zeroed out when I turn it on. It cost me $17.99 during Prime Days last year. I mostly use mine for postage weight. I have not used it to weigh projects.

What are you working on today?

Wow! @Michelle Childers & @Barbara Amarillas ... You are both quite ambitious to tackle those! It's way too much hand sewing for me! But those are going to be GORGEOUS!!!!

@Barbara Amarillas That's very pretty! I saw in Crafting Hour you were working on that. I can't wait to see it finished!
The Evening Elegance Wrap
I Finished today the elegance wrap. I don't like this yarn for this pattern, I will to do another time with another yarn. ( maybe one color or gradient of colors). For the person recognize inverse of knitting I had sew an etiquette on inverse because the knotting in the center makes it difficult to put on without unnecessary twisting. It's a good practice for the next Evening Elegance Wrap.
