Audio cleanup question
Hey! I'm back from Confluence and just got the recording of my workshop. We recorded it on an iphone on a tripod near the crowd so the sound is less than awesome. I uploaded it to Riverside and did their "magic" sound thing. At 100% it sounds gross, but around 10% it sounds okay. I'm playing with that slider. Are there any better solutions for cleaning up the audio? Thanks!

@David Barbarisi I asked Podigy's audio team to see if they have some easy fixes. What I found that you can test is: - Adobe Podcast Enhance: https://podcast.adobe.com/enhance - Descript's Studio Sound feature I'll get back to you with what the editors will say

Offering ongoing tech guidance for cool entrepreneurial people
Hi podcasting friends! I'm offering some group business tech guidance for entrepreneurs and there's super low founder's pricing happening for the next couple days. I can definitely help walk you through the podcasting tech hurdles, in addition to things like websites, email lists, and the rest of the tech stress mess. I'm pretty much copying the model of the Podigy offer because I think it's great. 😁 A group space where you can ask tech questions and I'll answer there, plus I'll host weekly group office hours calls where I answer questions for the group, and I'm building up a resource library of common solutions. The next call is Monday night and I'm going to present a little on email marketing plus answer questions. (Are you noticing the theme here?) Monday's also the last day to get founding pricing. Check it all out here: https://www.healingoctopus.com/tech-clarity/

Headphones or not?
Hi Everyone, I'm late to the party but am gearing up to put my podcast "The Modern Mammal" out there soon-ish. In organizing my tech, I'm wondering about headphones. I see many podcasts, including some here and Kelly's, where the host is not wearing headphones. Do they have small ones tucked behind their hair? I'm curious about not wearing headphones as they are bulky and I tend to wear big earrings. In the Podigy classroom, it seems that headphones are important and suggested. Any thoughts? Many thanks in advance!

@Molly May hey! It's great that you're planning to launch the podcast soon. The big thing about headphones is that they avoid the sound that comes out of your speakers bleeds into your mic, which can be problem when you have interviews. So that's the functional/logistic thing. If you prefer, you can definitely have just bluetooth earphones behind your hair if that's what you prefer. The important element is a high-quality mic like Piola mentioned above
