New realisation about PayPal for me recently: (Thanks to Alex Middleditch) PayPal the spoken word sounds like Papal and it's all about the sound, not the direct spellings! In the 'beginning the word was' The word “papal” simply means relating to the Pope or the office of the Pope. The term comes from the Latin word papa, meaning father, which became the title used for the Bishop of Rome, the leader of the Roman Catholic Church. So anything described as papal is connected to the authority, actions, or office of the Pope. Examples: • Papal authority – the authority claimed by the Pope over the Catholic Church• Papal decree / papal bull – an official document issued by the Pope • Papal states – territories historically ruled by the Pope (in central Italy until 1870) • Papal nuncio – a diplomatic representative of the Pope to a country In formal terms, “papal” = of or belonging to the Pope. I watched Iain Clifford's stream yesterday and for those combating Council Tax this might help. In short: The councils are renting out the courtrooms and playing court, I am sure most know this. It seems they may also be using council employees to act as the council solicitor/prosecutor, and these actors are not actually legally qualified, therefore making the whole case null and void. So if anyone is going to court soon for council tax, this may be a strategy to look at to get the case kicked out. Iain states that after several months of research, the only cases he can find where people have actually won in court have been through process challenges. It's all about the process with court, and this would be a break in process, therefore breaking their case.
