Was a gentle, creative space was opened last week, and I wanted to share it with you. Big love to @Ingmar Mareen for the invitation and hosting this workshop in her community. We slowed down, reflected, and reconnected through writing and painting. One of the most meaningful moments was writing a letter to the body. to the part of ourselves that holds stories, creativity, emotion, and sacral energy. This practice is about connection. When we create, we soften, we listen, and we remember we’re not alone. This includes men, too! honouring both feminine creative energy (yoni) and masculine creative energy (lingam). If it speaks to you, you can follow along at home: • Write a gentle letter to your body • Let the words be kind, curious, or healing • Paint alongside it (intuitive, no skill needed) • Let the process be the point Watch the video and create along with me. 🌸You’re always invited to share - as much or as little as feels right.

Colours
I absolutely love colours. Colour theory was my favourite class while in art school - I find it funny how someone’s colour pallets say a lot about who they are inside. Growing up my favourite colours were blue and yellow, in my teens I loved ‘Tiffany blue’ like most millennials I think 😂 now I still very much love blue and yellow, but I also have ventured into shades of green. What got me thinking about this today was my daughter grabbing all her favourite colours from a set of pens. This is her pallet. It matches her bubbly, loving, ‘girly’ and kind personality 🤍 for reference Ive never been a ‘pink girl’ grew up skate boarding and wearing baggy skate clothes, and she does ballet, wear pink every chance she gets and does not like anything baggy or loose 😂😂

Distance & intention
Wow! Ive been wifi free in my phone and home for 1 month! This wasn’t on purpose. Issues with providers after moving, and running up my data for downloading movies offline for my daughter caused me to have this hiatus. It’s been really interesting as I’ve had to use my time ‘online’ intentionally as it’s limited and passing. Ive noticed a few things I thought I would share: - i am more calm! - I constantly loosing my phone around the house which is crazy because it’s usually always within sight - I am more present and engaged as a mother, less in my head while with my kids - My purpose feels more clear and focused, less confusing and influenced by what I’m absorbing online - I have been a lot more creative and inspired to make art Anyways, here is the first piece of art I did yesterday, since moving! I still want to add some details, but I love her! Her name is still in the air, so let me know if you have ideas! :) I’m letting my daughter pick. She is she ‘mascot’ of our Art Studio

Art is Witchcraft, and Witchcraft is Art
I am learning more and more about witchcraft and higher priestesses (yes, before Christianity there were female spiritual leaders: priestesses). And before patriarchy, there were women who knew how to create powerful change: witches. They were burned because they KNEW how powerful they were, and that power needed to be erased. And you know what those powerful witches did? They created art. They wove into it what they wanted to call in, created art about the pain they wanted to release, and offered it to Mother Earth. They processed their desires, limiting beliefs, and emotions through art - because art gives us direct access to our subconscious mind. Sounds very familiar to what @Jenny Landis is teaching us. What do you think? Can’t wait to create more magic ✨
