I joined this community 25 August 2025. Since the. So much has happened in life, and I’ve learned so much from this community. This includes inspiring me to haul out all my watch’s and get new batters for those in need and wearing those that had been sitting on the bench. I’ve also enjoyed seeing men who are passionate share their favorite watches and the wind of getting a grail watch. I reached Level 7 at some point today, and that’s thanks to you because I’ve had Limited engagements on this community the last couple days. Thanks so much for your welcoming and supportive community.

Today I’m wearing my 14k gold Geneva dress watch gifted to me from my late wife for Christmas 2007. I love the watch because it reminds me of our life together, but at the same time I am saddened because instead of celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary last month I’m mourning the 10th anniversary of her passing. Sometimes forever comes too soon.

The fleet has grown since joining this group. For starters I was never one to go after or reach for top teir bank busting watches. For one I wouldn’t want to damage something very expensive carelessly during a night out and live with that guilt, and two I’m a realist, and know my current lane in life financially speaking. I do however have a particular taste in watches. What I’m truly after are eye catching, sometimes unique, affordable and even lesser known name brands. I’ve totally learned a great deal about watches in general which has elevated my tastes a bit but I still manage to keep it within reason. Do I want a Rolex, of course, but no time soon 🤷🏻‍♂️. Until then I’ll continue to pad my collection with watches I like, perform well and think look good aesthetically. In a years time I went from a decade of only wearing my Apple Watch to amassing 16 analog watches. All that I love I might add. Anyway, enjoy the evening brothers.
