Update on the sobriety journey - day 39
After +10 years smoking, sobriety is looking solid. I almost gave up today again seriously after exposing myself socially to my old boss (friendly one). The atmosphere was festive in madrid city and I wanted to join the vibe. I didn't relapse, I repeat it looks solid. No smoking tobacco and weed at the same time is really hard not because of the cravings but because facing reality is not easy and I'm living the consequences of abusing weed. Weed abuse made me loss my real personality and friends, so I lost friendly social contact. I lost real connection, I lost 3 jobs. Add to that poor sleep, constant anxiety and the only solution I got are prescribed benzos (that I'm not taking). Today social exposure can mark a difference: I REALISED FRIENDLY SOCIAL EXPOSURE IS MY REAL MEDICINE. Add to that I can work better and longer and workouts feels x3 times better than on weed. Last but not least, something crazy about getting sober is that positive things happens "magically", that's very strange. Still a lot of work and time to be where I want to be. Thanks if you readed till the end.

SWK Daily Win – June 24
Today was a solid day. āœ… Completed my final interview with the CFO for the Creature Coffee opportunity and felt confident discussing accrual accounting, payroll, loans, and CAPEX. āœ… Finished refining my 150-day Mexico game plan, budget, and weekly schedule. Everything is aligned toward my goal of reaching $15k in savings by December. āœ… Took care of my plantar wart recovery and gave my body the rest it needs to heal. āœ… Took care of Jack and continued building a life that prioritizes responsibility, health, and long-term stability. āœ… Realized that recovery isn't something that happens after success—it is part of the process that makes success possible. One day at a time. Consistency over intensity. šŸ„‹šŸ•šŸ“ˆ #RecoveryWins #SoberWarrior #OneDayAtATime #BJJLifestyle #FinancialFreedom #DisciplineEqualsFreedom #ProgressNotPerfection #SWKWins #Mexico2026 #KeepGoing

So structured. Looks solid.
[QUESTION] What is a HEALTHY risk you took that paid off?
I've realized recently that my sobriety is made up of a series of healthy risks that have moved my life in a direction that I like. Sometimes there's a setback, but I can't lose if I don't quit. WHAT ABOUT YOU?

I still didn't take the healthy risk. Maybe joining this community? Since I got sober I'm different. Let's see how it goes.
Win of the Day
Today wasn't about a massive breakthrough. It was about stacking small wins. āœ” Completed the Howard Financial assessment for a potential Accountant position. āœ” Prepared for Monday's interviews with Creature Coffee and Interlix. āœ” Continued working through applications, HireFlix videos, and assessments for additional opportunities. āœ” Refined my 180-day rebuild plan for Mexico. āœ” Trained my body, cared for Jack, and stayed focused on my health and recovery. A few weeks ago, I might have looked at uncertainty and seen a problem. Today, I look at it and see possibilities. The future is still unwritten, but I know this: every application submitted, every interview prepared for, every workout completed, every day sober, and every step forward compounds over time. Success isn't one big moment. It's the accumulation of many ordinary days where you choose to keep showing up. #SWK #Recovery #Discipline #Resilience #Consistency #GrowthMindset #MensWork #Sobriety #OneDayAtATime #KeepShowingUp
