@Tanya Chadha it depends on cause, I do have ckd but my CKD is not due to Kidney's own fault. It is Neuro Injury in Spine leading to bladder dysfunction. Basically same spasticity that I have in legs is in bladder, that bladder spasm intermittently creates high voiding pressure affecting Kidneys. My problem is because of negligence for 16 yrs. If I had known this bladder problem before, no CKD would have developed. Technically: Obstructive Uropathy/Nephropathy. CKD primary 95 pct causes are Blood pressure high, Diabetes, Auto immune Kidney disease. I have none of those. My bp is normal or low to normal, diabetes ( hba1c is consistently close to 4.6-4.7 ), I don't have IgA, FSGS. Whole point it depends on "CAUSE", my case is Mechanical problem. Still my numbers won't return to normal, because some decent damage definitely has happened. It would just settle around my exact "unknown" baseline after reversible factors. That baseline we don't know, but fortunately should be cleared in next 6 months. This is what Urologist told me. Suggestion: Clean diet, realising you have a problem, have regular follow up with Nephrologists and don't skip periodic lab test as advised by Nephrologist.
