make a friend๐Ÿ‘‡ (how to make biz easier, less lonely, and more fun)
my favorite part of this community... isn't the group calls or the free trainings and resources i give y'all or helping u get ur first paying clients or even helping some of u go full time in their coaching practice my favorite part is hands down THE RELATIONSHIPS and the coolest shit ever is when these online relationships go OFFLINE and u all start linking up in real lifeeeee building a biz is fun but building friendships while u build a biz is a gazillion times better less lonely, more fun, and tons easier also u never know what kinda collaborations and partnerships can form (like many have in this crew) i'm dropping some photos of people from this community that have met IRL now, my challenge to u is to drop where u live in the comments๐Ÿ‘‡ then look for other comments of anyone in ur area comment on their post make friends plan a meetup just like @Shannon Sullivan , @Ruth Levesque , and @Ashley Makela did or @Kelly Quinn and @Sarah Knodell or like @Ruth Levesque and @Joy Moses did or me, @Bobbi Stalnaker , and @Sydney Rinderknecht or @Michael Taningco and @Janet Mao etc etc don't be shy... make some friendssss

2 pro bono client MUST DO'S
Anytime you enroll free clients they must be aware of 2 things: THE EXCHANGE - free clients are never โ€œfreeโ€, if they're not paying with money they must be aware of the investment they will be making with their time, feedback, and testimonial/case study THE VISION - the coaching timeline, expectations, and what transitioning to paid support will look like Without these the chances of wasting your own time and energy on people that will NEVER provide a testimonial, or transition into your paid offer goes wayyy up if this hit, drop your pro bono client horror stories in the comments! ๐Ÿฅถ

On a roll...
Y'all I did a breathwork presentation for a volunteer thing at work and it went great!! I published the podcast episode! And then I was sitting here crying bc a lady that I was trying to help in my day job as an RN care manager screamed at me and hung up the phone. My body was like "nah man we gonna freeze" and my energy has been zapped to super low. So like I heard Micah say in the sandbox, just make a post to see if you even like coaching. For me, it's group coaching. When I was in my cert program, I couldn't stand doing group coaching bc I didn't know what to do with more than one person. Now after watching a lot of free/paid workshops, I wanna try it out. So I threw up a post in a few Facebook groups. I was real and raw and so tired of the shit from today -- and people actually responded!!! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ what??

Maze of finding my dream
Helloooo! Just saw @Joy Bhatti post this past week on insta looking for some clients! Shoutout to you Joy, it has been so fun to grow in this field together and just want to say i felt so much inspo and energy from that post. I loved how authentic and clear it felt. It has me in this ideation and movement phase of taking steps for my biz. Thank you!! With that said, I am really in the works with exploring and understanding who I want to serve / who is my ideal client. I feel really drawn to women's health and wellness, supporting women through life shifts; physically (menses, menopause, hormones, etc.) and mental/life transitions (career, purpose, new mother, empty nester, etc). I love the idea of supporting one on one through virtual or in person sessions, as well as I have been dreaming a lot about how I would love to build out curated community events where i collab with likeminded souls (yoga instructors, healthcare workers, nutritionist, sound bath, tarot readers, librarians, etc) to create a grounding and intentional space for women to get together and have a theme that I can provide education or discussion around (nutrition, herbs, movement, mindfullness, etc). As I feel drawn to this space a couple things keep popping up. One although I am a woman and work in healthcare, there is this knowledge gap that I yearn to become more confident in that I feel like I need in order to support my clients. Also I find it hard to get more clear or specific on my "client profile" more than this and defining the result/solution I could provide? Because my mind just goes to something simple like feeling grounded and empowered in our bodies and choices (which i believe leads to health & wellness whether that be weight loss, decrease in anxiety, menopausal sx relief etc). I also think is that a result people would really want? Anyways this is a maze of thoughts I have had swirling in my head so thought I would see what peoples thoughts are. how have you maneuvered this part of the journey to find clarity? what are ways you have helped grow your own education in order to be a stronger coach? how have you supported your mind in imposter syndrome (which I think some of this stems from)? Welcome any and all reflections and feedback!

@Cassandra Schiller stoked to see ya here in the community! Totally normal to have this whirlwind of thoughts. When it comes to getting clearer on the type of person we feel called to serve, I love to encourage people to start off with thinking about a past version of themselves and what you did to get to where you're at now! We can definitely go over it more on our call too, just sent ya a text!

@Sarah Knodell of course! And bonus tip: Donโ€™t even feel pressured to post all the time. Create it and keep it in the drafts!
