Ask AI this Prompt for fun...
Based on everything you know about me, generate an image a famous person, living, dead or fictional, that symbolizes best my personality. Let's see what shows up. Pretty funny what shows up in ChatGPT anyways. What is yours?

What a fun suggestion @Joe Travaglione . I gave it a litlle twitch and asked which biblical figure symbolises my personality. AI gave me the following: This is Nehemiah, who was not a prophet, priest, or king by calling. Nehemiah fits you because you are a builder of systems, a carrier of responsibility, and a leader who restores through structure, calmly, faithfully, and without needing the spotlight.

@Wendi Bergin did you try this yourself?
This Week
What’s 1 thing you have to get done this week to make it successful? Update: and if you can’t name one, you’ve got some planning to do. (Quiet time thinking about what’s important to move the ball down the field).

Follow-up on Dubai investor
Sri Lanka Dispatch
Hi friends, Just sharing an update from recent travels in Sri Lanka and my hometown, Colombo. I was there for a contemporary art festival (www.colomboscope.lk), where I exhibited my work. I was also invited to take part in a group exhibition at a local gallery. Both were well received, and the festival was a major networking event. But it went much further, deepening connections and friendships locally and regionally. One of the Super Whos I was meant to reach out to as part of Q4’s 10-Week Challenge is now my friend. While I’m still starstruck, I think we’re both benefiting from the relationship, which is pretty cool. This is her website; she’s an artist: https://sehershah.net/ During the festival, I also decided to host a charity art sale to support Cyclone Ditwah relief. For those of you interested in art market pricing, I’ve attached a pdf with a price list from my time working with a gallery in Colombo. Happy to chat further about it and share more, as it’s likely unfamiliar territory. I managed to raise $3,748.55 from seven artworks over five days. The sale was 50% off, and all proceeds went to charity. It was a good sale and an interesting test to see which collectors were willing to purchase. One of the main takeaways is that I’m ready to take on a more empowered leadership role to build a robust and resilient arts infrastructure in Sri Lanka. This would involve reaching out to friends and their families who run business empires there and asking them to contribute towards this larger goal. I will also be approaching my family (we have a family business there, too). I’m well placed to be in this position as an art advisor because people know and trust me personally and professionally. That’s the hometown network. Another identity shift is that I feel ready to pursue academic study at a university again. It’s been 12 years since I graduated from college, and I never felt ready. But now many things have fallen into place, which is quite exciting.

Reflection – Unmasking False Identity
I started this week with a lot of drive and intensity. Then today, the CEO asked me to work on something that required effort, but didn’t feel like it would move the needle in a meaningful way. That’s when I noticed my false identity showed up: “Just work harder. Put in the hours. Be useful.” But underneath that was a deeper truth. I don’t actually thrive on activity. I thrive on meaning. On work that creates leverage, direction, and real impact. Today felt uncomfortable because my old identity wanted to stay loyal to busyness, while my real identity was asking a different question: "Does this actually make a difference?" That tension was the signal. Curious where others are noticing this gap between activity and impact this week.

@Michael Clegg Thank you Clegg. Well I simplified the situation for the post. The actual situation is more complex. I found time blocking to be crucial and I am matching it with my "state". I know I am strong and focused in the morning and evening. That is where I block my time to do focus work in flow. And I use the pomodore technique to keep myself accountable. The afternoons are for meetings, email and to-do lists.

Thank you all for your great feedback and reflection on my post. I start each day writing down my 3 impossible goals for Q1: 1 - secure €2M funding 2 - create a Quality Management System 3- finish the prototypes for our product Any new task or request is filtered, does it help me realize my IG? If not, I don't do it. Last week, I shared that filter with our CEO. (he already approved my IG weeks ago) Today, as we aligned on priorities for this and next week, it proved invaluable in helping us focus our efforts.

I failed in January but will not in February. I will send a Skool T-shirt to the person that finishes the month of February with the highest point total for the month of February on the Leaderboard. ( I love games ) The best way to rack up points, is creating posts that many people comment on. The second best way is to comment on other people's post because then you get points for them liking your comment. (I think). @Kerry Souter can you confirm that? @Marcel Haan @Toby Thomas @Mike Ludwig @Wendi Bergin are all at the top on the 30 day. Also, I want to officially welcome our two newest members @Crystal Sanchez and @Robert Burch Please introduce yourselves and get on the scoreboard. It's a fantastic community that will challenge you to think differently than you're accustomed to.
