🌈 First Official Business Spotlight — Founding 50 💜
I’m excited to officially welcome @Art Smith and GayBArchives as the FIRST accepted business/community project inside the Trans Collective Archive (TCA) LGBTQ+ Business & Creator Directory. ✨ GayBArchives has built a community of over 57,000 members focused on LGBTQ+ history, culture, conversation, memories, and preserving pieces of community life that deserve to be remembered and shared. Honestly… having an archive-centered community become the very first accepted project feels incredibly fitting. 🌈📚 Thank you Art for supporting the vision early and being part of helping build something community-centered from the ground up. I also made a short video walkthrough showing the directory post and spotlight. 👀✨ More founders, creators, organizations, artists, wellness spaces, and LGBTQ+ businesses will be added as submissions continue coming in. The first 50 approved submissions will be grandfathered in as founding members of the directory. 💜 Thank you @Scott Fullerton for creating a space for connection.

New Members and Creating The 'Why Now' Moment
Good Tuesday Morning Syndicate Fam! I hope those in the US had a nice 3-day Memorial Day Weekend. It was rainy for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning here in NE Ohio, but around noon on Monday, the blue sky's opened up and the temp got to a wonderful 75 degrees for a great finish to the holiday. Let's give a big welcome to our 2 newest members... @Elijah Aguero is in Colorado, and is the Founder of Hero XP, a Full Time Parent, a business researcher, and likes games, and working out! @Dawson Ashwood is located in UK, who creates Social Media Guides. His guides provide support to small businesses and their social media accounts and they are virtual guides. He loves coffee, food and gaming. Welcome guys and please take a moment to introduce yourself in a post. Have you created a “Why Now?” Moment? One of the fastest ways to make your marketing stronger is to give people a reason to act today, not “someday.” Many business owners explain what they offer, who it helps, and why it matters, but they forget to answer the silent question every customer is asking: “Why should I do this now?” Your job is not to pressure people. Your job is to create clarity. Try adding a timely reason to your next post, email, offer, or sales conversation: - “Before Pride Month gets busy…” - “Before the next quarter starts…” - “Before you spend more money on the wrong strategy…” - “Before your schedule fills up…” - “Before another week goes by without being visible…” Your action step: Take one offer and add a clear “why now” sentence to your marketing. Example: “Book your brand audit this week so you can fix the gaps before your next big promotion.” People move when the next step feels useful, timely, and doable. That is how we build More Pride. More Profit. More Power.

Visibility Wednesday Boost. Who's On YOUR Mount Rushmore?
Happy HumpDay Syndicate Family! I hope you are cruising through the week so far. On Wednesdays, we take a little time to brag upon ourselves and do a little self promotion, with some fun thrown in along the way. Today I'm inspired by my 7,000 mile roadtrip a few years back, where we circled the country from here in Ohio, to the West Coast and back. We saw silly and fun sites like "The Future Birthplace of James T. Kirk (Riverside, IA)," "39 Vintage Cars at Carhenge (Alliance, NE)," and "A Huge Sundial under the Redwood Trees at The Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay (Redding, CA)." We also took in some historic sites, like "The Painted Desert and The Grand Canyon in Arizona," "Alcatraz Island in San Francisco," and "Mount Rushmore in South Dakota." So Today's Visibility Boost Assignment is to share your 4 choices for your own personal "Mount Rushmore." Who are the four icons you would put up there? They can be Celebrities, Personal Heroes, Spouses, Mentors, Business Leaders, Etc.. You can write them down or have AI create them for you. Then share your personal pitch, as to why YOUR business should be etched in stone for your product or service. Have some fun with it and enjoy the rest of the week.

My Mount Rushmore would probably confuse people… and honestly, that’s okay. 😅 Each person here represents a different piece of how I see the world, leadership, culture, identity, and humanity. Martin Luther King Jr. For showing the world how to confront injustice while still calling people toward humanity, unity, and movement. He rallied people across race, gender, and identity to believe change was possible. Rigoberta Menchú For representing women, indigenous roots, resilience, and the importance of preserving stories and cultures that systems tried to erase. John Leguizamo For using humor, storytelling, and creativity to educate people about Latino identity and our pre-Hispanic roots in a way that feels human, accessible, and open-minded. Armani The first time I saw drag, transness, and queerness fully expressed without shrinking, apologizing, or hiding. It was bold, artistic, emotional, and freeing in a way that stayed with me. Funny enough… this list probably explains my entire personality and the kind of communities I want to build more than any business bio ever could. 💜

@Scott Fullerton That would be very cool 😎 He's definitely a loud ally. Is there a signature question you ask? Have you posted a link to your podcast?
Memorial Day Weekend. Community Connection.
Happy Friday Syndicate Friends. I want to start by thanking @Shanti Gold for a wonderful chat yesterday, helping me pull my thoughts together on the loss that has been consuming me the last couple of weeks, and the possibilities ahead. This is what I created this community for. Real world business and lgbtq professionals to have a place to support each other, grow, and learn from each other. If you only meet one person here that has made your business or life a little bit richer for the experience, I have done my job and am happy with what we have built together. I want to thank all of the wonderful members who contribute regularly and those who check in when they can. It takes all of us to make something special, even though we are all awfully busy. Special shout out besides Shanti, to @Art Smith @Danielle Morris @Richard Jones @Aidan McClain @Eli Del Rio @Michael Thomas @Lisa Ronquillo @Jay West @John Morley @Richard Skipper and @David Churchill I hope you all get to enjoy an extended weekend with friends and family, chosen or otherwise... This Memorial Day Weekend, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. For the LGBTQ Success Syndicate, this weekend is also a reminder that freedom, visibility, community, and opportunity are never things we take for granted. Many people sacrificed so future generations could live with more safety, more possibility, and more pride. As LGBTQ entrepreneurs, business owners, professionals, and allies, let’s use this weekend to rest, reflect, reconnect, and remember what we are building together.
