CSA Education/Training
Good morning everyone: Question regarding certification/education training for incoming CSAs. To increase financial literacy and answer the "why" question surrounding the role, has anyone utilized any third party educational trainings? Like an FPQP certification course? As another example, I found a Client Service Certificate Program through Advisory Education Partners, but reviews were limited. Curious to hear what others firms are doing.

Our BD has courses we can take. It helps a lot.
Centralized Trading
Hi All! We are considering hiring a trader and centralizing our trading process (currently each advisor is doing their own trading). I was curious if any of you have a "trading" role and what other responsibilities you have that person manage outside of trading? With our current volume of trading, managing trades alone wouldn't be a full time position. Thanks!

@Derek Finch We use the same method. The advisors love it and it frees up a lot of their time.
Job openings
Was I imagining things, or was there a site we could post job openings on?

@Kate Guillen great! It's a shot in the dark that we could find someone in the area, but I would still post it just in case someone knows someone in our area.
RILA anniversaries
How do you handle RILA anniversaries? We thought we could attach a workflow for RILA anniversaries, but where can we put a date that would be reoccurring to run a report to attach the workflow? Or should we just make a repeatable activity on the contact for their anniversary every year?

@Ali Merten That is what we are looking at now. I figured it would have to be this way. At least we won't lose track of it. 😁
Virtual Meeting Assistants
Good morning! Back in June @Kevin Stephison had asked about using "AI Notes" for virtual meetings in this thread. I'm currently considering adding a meeting assistant to help with my Zoom/Teams meetings to record/transcribe/summarize my client meetings. I know @Joe Moss mentioned in the thread above that he's used Grain and Fathom. Curious, Joe... which of these 2 would you recommend and why? In the same thread @Brian Quaranta mentioned Avoma. And @Mark Wellman suggested a couple additional options. Anyone else trialed or using any of these tools and have any thoughts or opinions? Thanks very much 😀
