Solar kiln is almost halfway built.
Only have a couple of hours a day to work on this but itās close to being halfway done. Depending on how long it takes to get the rest of the materials I could be completely finished with this small solar kiln in a week or so.

How should I pick a winner?
š§ Y'all wanna brainstorm on how to pick a winner? Last time I just rolled everyoneās names up in a ball and picked them from a hat.š© šI figure if youāre gonna do something make it look cool. Now that we have 50 members Iād like to do something with a little more.. idk.. pizazz What do yāall think?

Not sure what other options there might be. Depending on how many people you have you can roll dice, write names on a deck of cards and draw a card after shuffling the deck. I dunno.

Really beautiful mesquite live edge slabs with a large split down the center. These are for sale for $100 each. If they donāt sell within the week, Iām gonna do something a little different with theseā¦

Mesquite is one of my favorite woods to work with especially for cutting boards. Nothing looks quite like it once itās had a finish applied, but itās also one of the most frustrating woods to buy because no one paints the ends and it tends to crack like crazy when it dries which for what I do makes it damn near impossible to find a good thick solid crack free piece
