Update to cedar TV box.
I haven't gotten much time to work on this in a couple days but wanted to show some update. This one will be a long process with the finishing faze comes. The first is the concept plan and roughly what it will look like after getting the assembly done and doing the walnut inlay. The other 2 pics are the current state. Going to have hydraulic hinges on the outside and piano hinge across the top, recessed magnetic catches at the bottom to keep lid closed when not in use, and a handle on the lid. The lid is recessed inside the shiplap that is extended to to of lid to help keep our dust and dirt. Will also add a slight weather seal on the frame. The back will have sliding closers so you can access ports and close it up when not in use and to help keep the sun off of the back. Will be finished in tung oil which i prefer on aromatic cedar. And topped with oil based poly weeks after the tung oil cures. I know, tung oil takes forever to cure. The final Pic is aromatic cedar in tung oil

Cedar Humidor
I have never done a humidor so this will be a project I may be a little slow at doing. In the design phase. Thinking Mahogany on the outside with a small glass opening in the lid and Spanish cedar on the inside. Is to hold 25 cigars. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
TV Hutch in Process
Something that I'm working on at the moment is a TV hutch from cedar that I got from friends here at tri county. This is what it will look like when I'm done. And here is the case. Starting on the lid now. I did purchase some shiplap. Should be done this week if I don't have to work to much overtime at the brewery.

Post your progress
Everyone I’ve met selling lumber has something they’re working on that they are passionate about! I’ve heard a lot about yalls projects, but talk is cheap. A picture is worth a thousand words so show us how it’s going! (It doesn’t have to be wood related, just whatever your working on)
