In a state of overwhelm
📅 Daily Check-in - June 29, 2026 💭 Reflection: "Well I think I'd describe today as a roller coaster sort of day with more downs than ups. I'm in the middle of my financial year end and tomorrow is the last day....so what happens? Murphy's Law is what happens. I spend the entire morning and part of the afternoon, running my youngest to the doctors following a big bike accident last night, then to x-ray only to find their machine was being serviced so had to travel further into town, finally got the x-rays done and then headed all the way out of town back to the dcotors to have a plaster cast put on his arm for the first couple of weeks before they re-x-ray it again. I'm now significantly behind on my year end tasks which puts more load on tomorrow. So I'm missing the reset tomorrow - I'm prioritising sleep (says me sitting in bed at 10:20pm writing this!). Here's to a better day tomorrow!" 📊 Wellbeing Scores: ⚡ Energy: 4/10 🎯 Focus: 4/10 😌 Calmness: 3/10 🌙 Sleep Quality: 4/10 🔥 Motivation: 4/10 ⭐ Average: 3.8/10 ✅ Activities from yesterday: 💧 Stayed Hydrated 🥗 Healthy Eating 🍺 No Alcohol 🍬 No Added Sugar ☕ No Late Caffeine 🥩 Hit Protein Goal 🥦 Ate Vegetables 🍳 Home Cooked Meal 📚 Reading 🧠 Learning 🎓 Online Course 🎸 Skill Practice 🤝 Helped Someone 👂 Active Listening

Life is testing you Leonie and thank goodness you have learned what to prioritise. You’ve got this and before you know it things will start to fall into place again. You are strong and resilient 🧡
I'm actually exercising regularly now, and I'm kind of shocked
OK...I have to share this because I'm kind of proud of myself. Exercise was one of the things we were recommended to be doing during the cohort, and I did it every once in a while, but I really wasn't really regular with it. A big part of it was that it's so hot here, and the idea of going outside to exercise in this heat was just...NO. So now that the cohort is over, something finally clicked for me this past week. I realized that I really have to start doing this regularly. I started doing these short exercise videos on YouTube (around 20 minutes each), and I've done one every day for the past few days. I can't believe it. I love it. They're short enough that I can actually stick with it. I feel really good. I can already tell this is something I'm going to keep doing. I just wanted to put this out there because I know some people struggled with the exercise piece. If anyone else has been stuck on it, try a short video on YouTube.

Thanks for sharing this. Yes, it has been my downfall too! I have managed to swim once a week and the other days I walk around the farm (feeding out hay with my husband as it’s mid-winter here.). I will look for a 20 min workouts on YouTube 👍
Pleasant surprise?
What’s something about having ADHD that turned out to be better than you expected? For me? Finding this place. I’ve found somewhere where I feel I belong. Thank you everyone!

So much of this program exceeded my expectation! So glad to be here. I have moved some hills already. These tools are for life. 🤩
Clarity returning
There is a peaceful feeling that comes along with the clarity that is a result of my 6-week ADHD Harmony. And I have been taught to always ask: How does it get any better than this? For me that is choosing to opt-in to the next months - I’m staying on board this vessel for transformation. 🧡
Dopamine detox group challenge? 👀
Yesterday during the Cohort 3 Q&A we had a fascinating discussion about dopamine, procrastination, sleep, focus, social media, Netflix binges, gaming, and why we sometimes struggle to do the things we actually want to do. Multiple members shared that when they reduce the constant stimulation for a few days, they: - Sleep better - Feel calmer - Focus easier - Stop procrastinating as much - Feel more connected to themselves So I'm considering organizing a 3-Day Dopamine Detox Challenge for the ADHD Harmony community. We'd check in together each day and share wins, struggles, insights, and what changes when the noise disappears. I'm curious... Who would actually join? Let me know in the comments. What would be the hardest thing for you to give up for 3 days? 😅
