I would like to thank Dennis for giving the free composting workshop, it was just what I needed to get started on composting to help me obtain my gardening goal this year. Until now, composting seemed complicated and time-consuming. Dennis gave us the knowledge and tips and resources to start composting with confidence. I like that we had breakout groups which gave us an opportunity to see how others are composting with more experience, different ideas and plan my own compost. We also made new friends and will keep in contact to encourage and share our journey. Dennisโs knowledge of soil enabled him to presented well and made us feel comfortable asking any questions. I would definitely encourage you to take this free workshop and Iโm looking forward to other workshops he offers in the future.

Katrina, I currently live in Las Vegas but are transitioning to North Carolina in the next few years. I started a winter raised bed garden with cabbage, kale, lettuce, onion's. Iโm wanting to learn how to grow food in the Vegas hot climate, eventually having a larger self-sustaining garden in NC. As a child my parents grew everything I couldnโt appreciate it then but now I understand and want to do the same.
