Not sure if I invented this, but melon salad has become my #1 breakfast ( I would eat salad for every meal, Lord willing). Lots of spring mix, cantaloupe, cucumber, jicama, green onion, coconut nectar, and lime juice.
I made RoarSkye's carrot wraps overnight and they are surprisingly tasty! I always want to make Lissa's wraps but they have too many ingredients and I get overwhelmed 😅
Help! I've been gifted nearly 40lbs of pears! Half of them I've chopped and froze for nice cream and smoothies but the freezer is now maxed out on space. How would you use the other 20lbs of pears if a nice person suddenly thrusted them on you? Not the biggest fan of eating them as is, I only like pears as a friend.
@Valerie OBrien Yes! I've been juicing the cores after chopping the flesh because it hurts heart to throw them away. I juice them with my kale stems and red cabbage
I received an ABUNDANCE of green beans and kale. I sautéed some with onion, garlic and added rice vinegar for dinner last night. I added some kale to my salad. Looking for some ideas….. How do you prepare/season these foods?
Kale is great for a big green smoothie - blueberry, mango, kale, spirulina and flax is a good one. Can't go wrong with green beans and a tasty dip, something creamy like an avocado ranch maybe. Good luck!
