Never Judge a Supplier by Price Alone
I've seen many businesses choose the lowest quote, only to spend more money later. A lower price can sometimes mean: Lower-quality materials Poor production consistency Delayed shipments Weak communication When evaluating suppliers, I always look at: Product quality Production capacity Response speed Export experience Quality control process The cheapest supplier isn't always the most cost-effective.

There's an old saying in our country: you get what you pay for.

@Odessa Rose Communication and product quality should be the top priorities.
Fashion suppliers
Hello! Can you suggest some good fashion suppliers? I'm doing e-commerce in Australia and I'm looking for reliable suppliers with good product quality and fast shipping.

You're very capable, but 3000 SKUs is difficult.
What to do with returns/refunds
Been dealing with some return request lately. Does anyone have a good flow/SOP on how to deal with this? For example what partial refunds to offer and when to actually let them return it. Do I let customers return it to my fulfillment in China? And what partial refunds to offer? I started with 10%-30% but no one accepts the partial refund

From what I've seen, customers rarely accept a 10–30% partial refund unless the issue is very minor. For major defects or wrong items, a full refund or replacement is usually expected. For low-value products, many Shopify stores choose “refund without return” because shipping items back to China can cost more than the product itself. Improving QC before shipment is often the most effective way to reduce return requests in the long run.

@Ramon Marsman You should focus on product quality and logistics now; this will save you a lot of trouble. Perhaps I can help you.
