Let's talk ... Calendly
Good morning all! Hoping to hear your thoughts on Calendly. I love the promise of the program and when it works, its great. But there are times it tries to book appointments when I am unavailable. Is there another option, another app that does the same thing? @Kevin Marius @Jerry Fletcher what do you two use? Thanks to anyone who offers feedback! Appreciated.

The Secret to a Standing O
Ever wonder why some speakers leave the room buzzing while others just get that "polite" applause? After working with so many pros at the Inspiring Speakers Bureau, we’ve realized the secret isn’t a flashy slide deck or a perfectly timed joke. It’s the Emotional Arc. The best speakers don’t just dump info; they take us on a literal journey. If your talk feels a bit flat lately, try a quick "High-Low-High" Audit. You want to start with a punch—a hook, story, or stat that makes them sit up immediately. Then, move into the vulnerability. This is the "Low" where you share a struggle, and it’s where people actually connect with your humanity. Finally, you end on a high by giving them a clear, exciting vision of what’s possible. Just remember that data labels the brain, but stories hook the heart. If you want them to remember your stats, wrap them in a story. Next time, we’ll talk about what the pros do right before they hit the stage.

Standing ovations are nice but the better result is when just one individual in that audience says, "You changed my life..."

Nice to show up even though I was quiet throughout! Yes, I know that is unusual.
