To the whole Speak community, thank you. 💚 I just wanted to take a moment to thank every single one of you for being part of my journey. Towards the end of 2022, my life changed forever when I lost my sister at just 45 years old due to mental health struggles. Losing her left a hole in my heart that will never truly be filled. The grief, pain and questions that followed were some of the hardest moments I've ever faced. For a long time, I felt lost. But through sharing my story, connecting with others, and finding communities like Speak, I began to realise that healing doesn't mean forgetting. It means learning to carry the love, memories and lessons forward. On January 1st, 2026, I started running. Something I never imagined would become such an important part of my life. Twenty weeks later, I've run 278 miles and continue to run 45 miles every month in my sister's honour. Every mile is for her, for those we've lost, and for those who are still fighting battles that nobody else can see. I'm also training for the Great South Run and raising money for Solent Mind, with a goal of £500, because I want to help create hope for others who may be struggling. To everyone in this community who has supported me, encouraged me, shared their own stories, liked a post, left a comment, or simply listened thank you. You may never realise how much your kindness means. In my darkest moments, communities like this reminded me that none of us have to walk through life alone. If my sister's story, my running journey, or anything I've shared has helped even one person hold on for another day, then every mile has been worth it. Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Thank you for helping me turn pain into purpose. And thank you for reminding me, every day, that hope is still alive. Please stay. Keep going. Your story matters. 💚Craig 💚🏃♂️
