During Sunday’s Social Craft Hour, topic of scrap yarn came up. I don’t remember exactly how it came up or who said it (you’ll have to watch the video when it is posted) BUT save your scrap yarn. It can be added to your Polyfill to make it stretch when you’re making stuffies. I was working on my tubes at the time and I was like, wait a minute, hold up, I’ve been trashing mine. In addition to the scraps I recently cut, there was more that I needed to retrieve from what I had thrown away. Fortunately, it was in a new trash bag and there was nothing else in the bag that would cause it to become dirty. Next time Campbell comes over and tells me my room is messy and look at the yarn on the floor, I’m just going to hand her my scrap jar and say get busy LOL (same jar, two different angles)

I missed the craft hour… I went off to hospital with chest pain about three hours ago. I’m back home now though. I had an atrial fibrillation attack. My neighbours are heavy cannabis smokers and the smoke drifts into my house and it makes my heart thump and race. It was only a matter of time before I ended up in hospital. I’m ok, just very tired. Thank you @Tina Bryner for stepping in for me. I really appreciate it. You’re a star! I’m going to bed now. I’ll see you all tomorrow!

Guess what fell into my Amazon basket yesterday ...... A caydo! I've looked at them for ages. I've done loads of i-cords on little Prym manual machine and I loved it. But my hands are riddled with arthritis and using that little handle was not kind to my hands. Also it was very temperamental with yarns other than quite thin ones. I crochet a strap yesterday and my hands are very sore today. The more I can alleviate the pain the better 😊 So I've treated myself to the Caydo Pro. I love it 😁 I've done a couple of cords and used one on a water bottle carrier.
