Manifest for real.” Alice, you know that speaks my language! She's helping women take what they're learning from books and put it into practice in their everyday lives. Not just more reading, more information, or more things to add to the to-do list. Little steps that actually mean something. I love that she's making room for people to start wherever they are, without feeling like they're already behind. Alice, we've got some catching up to do! 😂 I'd love to hear how things are going with you and the Book Club. Okay so a little behind the build... My product Lighter is a 7-day mental load reset for women who carry a lot in their heads. Until now it lived in Notion. After a few sales and some testers, I noticed something. Not everyone is comfortable with Notion. Some got stuck just duplicating the page, before they even started. And for a product about carrying less… that was one step too many lol. So I rebuilt it. Now it just opens on your phone. You press play, write if you want, close the day. No app, no login. And I kept Notion for the ones who love it. What I learned: sometimes the product is fine. It’s the door that’s too heavy. Here’s a little peek 👇🏻

Auli Takala is joining Todd and me for Behind the Build this Wednesday, and I'm really looking forward to it! ❤️ Some of you may remember that Auli recently invited me to be a guest on her Backstage Roadshow. We had such a wonderful conversation, and now we get to turn the tables on her! 😂 Wednesday, November 4, at 12 PM Central We're going to get to know the woman behind Backstage. What inspired her to build it, what she's learning along the way, and what it means to create a place where other people can be seen and discovered. And there's something else I want to share about why this conversation matters to Skoolology. One of our promises to you is that we won't just help you design a community. We want to help you get your community in front of the right people, too. That's one reason we're building relationships with other communities. Auli welcomed me into Backstage to share our story. Now we're welcoming her into Behind the Build to share hers. And through those conversations, we're creating opportunities for our communities to get to know one another. That's the kind of community building I believe in. Not simply showing up somewhere to promote what we do, but taking the time to get to know people, support their work, and find ways to help one another grow. One of our members recently asked about scheduling tools, and I see how many different tools are popping up on Skool... Panda, Skooly, SkoolKit, and probably several others we haven't discovered yet. Todd and I use Panda, but I'm curious what everyone else is using! What are you using, and what's your favorite thing about it? If you're managing everything directly in Skool, we'd love to hear that, too! Let's compare notes! We might discover something that makes community building a little easier for each other. ❤️
