Challenge update Part 2
If you are not doing the challenge I would encourage you to think about it. Marty has some wonderfully valuable information in the courses.

Looking good!! Great variety you’ve got too
My aquaponics system
15 year old aquaponics system in the process of a redesign again. Acting as a nursery for some potted plants and growing some herbs and other stuff. As the summer heat gets unbearable l will be spending a fair bit of time in there growing my salad greens 🥬. Please excuse the mess.

Love this space @Leon Raucci. What breed of fish are you using to power it?

@Leon Raucci 👍 I had an IBC chop and flip system at my old townhouse cause there was no real space for in ground beds. Such a great way to use space and resources

Nice. Appreciate it 🪱
What are your projects in the next few weeks or months?
Hey there 👋 I thought I would jump on & talk about my project over the next few days or weeks depending on the weather as we are SUPPOSE to get some rain this afternoon & into the weekend. I have an old BBQ area which we never use anymore so I got rid of the BBQ (it was rusting anyway) & I plan to either move the big heavy concrete table to another part of the yard or leave it there if we can't move it. I will lift up the pavers & place some compost, manure & mulch there to improve the soil & then plant my running seedlings in the area eg. Watermelon, rock melon, sweet potato etc. That will be one side of the garden completed & the next job is to fix up the citrus trees and the soil under them. Don't be shy & add your projects below 👇

I’ve set myself the goal to replace my creepy old yard shed with a newer version that I’ll actually want to store my mower etc. in.

@Steve Thomas unfortunately it’s that early 90’s age. Just rotten pine structure and weird compressed board sheeting. I’ve been back and forwarding a few times on reskinning it but it’s too far gone. I have saved a few hardwood off cuts and random lengths from the rafters that have had new lives on the lathe so not all is lost..
Not much growth
It’s been a week or so since I did a vid not much growth but coming along slowly this container growing takes some getting used to.

Looking good. You’ve reminded me my jalapeno didn’t make it through last season so I need to find a replacement. No lack of other chilies in the garden, but poppers with ribs is a bit of a thing I’ve been missing now you’ve brought it up @Steve Thomas

@Steve Thomas 💯 As soon as it’s green or from the garden it’s a salad in my book I’m a Weber kettle guy so any excuse to fire it up on the weekends is fine by me
