A Simple Breath Practice To Bring Calmness
We live in a world that constantly pulls us out of our center... anything from notifications, responsibilities, deadlines, endless to-do lists. Most of us don’t realize just how much stress we carry until our body finally screams for attention. This is why simple daily practices matter so much. They’re like “micro resets” for the nervous system.. small, intentional pauses that bring us back into the body, quiet the mind, and anchor us in the present moment. And here’s the best part: science backs this up. Neuroscience shows that slow, controlled breathing... especially exhaling longer than you inhale, activates the parasympathetic nervous system, also known as “rest and digest.” This shift helps reduce stress hormones, lowers heart rate, and signals safety to the body and mind. 🧘 The Practice: The 4 - 4 - 6 Breath Here’s a simple technique you can use anytime: 1. Inhale through your nose for a count of 4. (at the top of the 4 count.. do another deep inhale) 2. Pause for 4 seconds (with eyes closed looking up into your 3rd eye) 3. Exhale gently through your mouth for a count of 6. 4. Repeat for 2–3 minutes (longer if you’d like). That’s it. No special equipment. No complex rituals. Just your breath..always available, always free. Why This Practice Works - Longer exhales tell the brain: we’re safe. - The body shifts gears from fight or flight to rest and digest. - Within minutes, the racing thoughts begin to slow. Something you can begin doing today: Whenever you feel stress building...before a big call, after an argument, or even just scrolling too long.. pause for a few rounds of the 4 - 4 - 6 Breath. I'm curious to know about practices that also help bring you back to your center? What’s your go to way of calming down when stress hits? Have you tried a breath practice like this before? Share below.. we'd love to hear what works for you. The Healing Circle

The “I AM” Practice
There’s a powerful truth that’s been passed down through spiritual teachings, personal development, and even modern psychology: You become what you think about all day long. The words you use after “I AM” are some of the most creative forces in your life. They shape your beliefs, your energy, and how you show up in the world. Think about two people who wake up in the morning. One says, “I am exhausted. I am stressed. I am unlucky.” That energy colors their entire day. The other says, “I am grateful. I am strong. I am capable.” Same morning, same world.. but completely different experience. Each morning, before you look at your phone or get pulled into the noise of the day, complete this sentence with three uplifting words: 👉 “I am ______. I am ______. I am ______.” For example: - I am healing. - I am worthy. - I am love. Say them out loud. Write them on a posty note for your bathroom. Write them down. Let them become the lens through which you experience your day. What are YOUR three “I Am” statements today? Drop them in the comments.. not only will it anchor them for you, but it might inspire someone else who needs those exact words today.

@Esperance Iradukunda Totally understand!! First and foremost, AMAZING work on having not just one, but TWO businesses! Says so much about the capacity you can handle. It sounds look you're looking for clarity that can help bring you action steps to start creating momentum. A few questions to consider: - What are the top 3 things you need to focus on most right now in order to bring in revenue? - What limiting beliefs are coming into your daily mindset that are making you think success isn't possible? - What are a few positive affirmations you can begin to root yourself into? (be sure and link scenarios that support these affirmations) .. For example... Money flows easily into my life (think of a few instances when this happened).. It's important to have the brain have data to support the affirmation.. without it, it's merely wishful thinking
YOUR STORY MATTERS - LEAN IN & SHARE
We all carry stories.. some heavy, some beautiful, some that shaped us in ways we are still uncovering. But here’s the truth most of us forget: your story isn’t just for you. When you share what you’ve been through...your struggles, your wins, your lessons...you give someone else permission to heal, to hope, and to keep going. In fact, neuroscience shows that sharing personal stories lights up mirror neurons in the listener’s brain. That’s why when you open up about your journey, others don’t just hear it...they feel it. And in that moment, they realize they’re not alone. A little example for you: Think about how powerful it feels when someone admits: “I’ve been through the same thing.” Suddenly, the weight you’ve been carrying doesn’t feel so isolating. That’s the power of story. A Practice You Can Start Today: Try the “One Truth a Day” Practice.Every day, share one small truth about your journey...with a friend, a loved one, or even in this community. It doesn’t have to be your whole life story. Just one truth. Over time, those truths add up to freedom, connection, and healing. Lean in.. you'll be surprised by how free you feel once you do. Okay.. now it's YOUR TURN 😃 What’s one part of your story you feel ready to share...something that might help someone else realize they’re not alone? Drop it in the comments. 👇 Because when you lean in, you don’t just free yourself… you light the way for someone else too.
