Born in Roma Coral Fantasy
Wearing Coral Fantasy today, and I realized that if I was forced to choose only one scent to wear for the rest of my life, this would be it. I love BIR Extradose and Intense, but the sweet red apple and rich tobacco notes give Coral Fantasy the edge for me. Its not perfect. I wish the lavender note was a little more pronounced, like Extradose, and I often combine the 2 because of this. Still, I have to say that in this moment in time Coral Fantasy is my favorite frag. Its incredibly versatile. Anytime of year, any occasion, and at any temperature Coral Fantasy is going to work great for me. Very good projection and longevity. One of my best compliment pullers. Sure I have better gym, date night, office and church frags. Coral Fantasy is still a top 10 pick in every category. Maybe Valentino will release BIR Coral Fantasy Extradose one day, until then this is the GOAT GADA frag for me.

Best of the line, for sure.
Goldfield & Banks Bohemian Lime
Purchased this a little bit ago. Warm today mid 80s. So I had to break it out for a first wear. This definitely is a nice lime opening with some herbs/spices that are mild. The lime is a little lighter than Persian lime and I like it, almost a daquiri lime smell). There are moments in the mid of Vetiver mixed with the lime. Once the mid layer evolved it is a light wood scent (sandalwood vs the cedar I think), glimpses of amber and even a little powdery. Ran the first sprays at 7:30am and then a second round at 12:45 pm just to have it fresh on again to go into the warm temperature. I noticed on the dog walk working up a sweat, hints of lime coming at me with some sandalwood. I knew this was a 5-6 hour type of fragrance and I want to see how it does when temps really get up in the 90s here. I have a few other summer fragrances coming to figure out olfactory families and my summer rotations. 1) Mancera French Riviera 2) Hermes H24 Herbes Vives 3) Nishane Wulong Cha X More fun soon.

I really like this one, but it is not that versatile. When I can wear it, I love it.

@Keith Dalton "any citrus., not named orange" yes! I understand. Wear it well, brother.
SOTE - Xerjoff Monkey Special
Yesterday, I ran a poll on what to wear, BDC L'Exclusif won, but Monkey Special was a strong second place. So popped on a couple handful of sprays, grabbed some sticks and fired up the pit. Geese I love this stuff!!

Own it/love it!
First date! Let’s see how Stronger with You Parfum does
First date tonight! It’s cold for Seattle (high 30’s) and pretty damp, so I thought it would be a perfect night to rock SWY Parfum. I love the warm aromatic nutty richness of this one - it only just beat out all the other flankers which I love almost as equally (SWY Intensely, Absolutely and Tobacco were all neck and neck with the Parfum for a full bottle). So let’s see if it pulls a compliment. Went relatively light (two to the neck, one under my shirt, and 1/2 spray to each arm) so I don’t risk choking her out - this one is pretty strong

Help I Need Advise.
I have a family friend who calls me all the time, and he loves fragrances, or he may be competing with me as he has been over the house and has seen my Vast collection. He calls me several times to get my opinion and always lets me know his latest pickups. He asks questions to compare notes and when to wear, etc., etc., and has sent several texts with pictures of his latest acquisitions. and several of his collection, as he lives 2 states over in Colorado. Here is my thing, lots of the questions he asks are on fragrances he owns, and the catch is that of a collection of about 400 alot of the boxes are unopened and still have the plastic on them. I dont want to sound critical, and I dont know if he is purchasing them to look good in my eyes and then returning them, as he has very limited fragrance knowledge, and I cant bring it up in conversation as I am too direct and would surely start a war. The thing is, every purchase I have made, and I own over 900 bottles, although I may not have gotten full wear out of them, they have been ripped open by me and sprayed on skin and on testers. I at least know how every purchase smells, and I have none left in plastic unopened and not sprayed unless it is a backup bottle. Actually, I get the mail call open, and I pretty much spray immediately and test each one for the first 2-3 days, even if it is not going to be a full wear. I am getting to the point where I am about to tell him to stop sending me pictures of unopened boxes of perfume that are supposedly purchased, because this practice is unknown to me! I have confirmed that he said he has purchased them and is not thinking of purchasing them, although I find it hard to believe. Any Thoughts?

A lot of good thoughts in this thread. I might move the conversation toward him to find out more... for instance when he asks about a fragrance, give your honest opinion, and end with, " but I'm super interested in what you think about it. Get back to me after you wear it. I'd love to hear about your experience. "
