341: I mostly did heelwork. I've been working on this a lot recently and am happy with how it's going. I am working on fading the hands out gradually. The heeling mostly looks nice occasionally he will crab slightly so I am keeping an eye on that. 342: My routine got thrown off. We had a lovely walk in West Tanpit woods and I totally forgot to train later! I am really bad at remembering if my routine changes. 343: Today I went to visit Kat for some more training. Lupe is working towards tracking. Onyx is working towards truffle detection. Although both are working on indications currently. I've had an issue with Lupe being far too far from the Kong when indicating. Thankfully Kat showed me a few tips that began to resolve this almost instantly which was very encouraging. Onyx has far less drive, but in some ways is much easier. It is quite smooth sailing working through her progressions even if she is less crazy about doing it. Kat seemed very happy with how it was going so I take that as a really good sign. I've asked if we can get another session in soon because it's truffle season and it would make my year if I could get Onyx hunting truffles this year! It seems doable but I just need to hustle. Little shoutout to my friend @Ben Sweet too as his Truffle Hunting escapades have very much inspired me along the way.
