Roast My Post
I never thought I'd be able to wear this shirt. Even when my wife bought it for me seven years ago, it was still snug and looked ridiculous on me. But I stubbornly kept it because I dug the design. "One day, it'll fit," I told her. "One day!" That day has finally come. The years of opening the closet, picking it off the rack, and not being able to put it on. The last six months it spent in our "other" closet because it wasn't worth keeping in the main one if I wasn't going to wear it. All of that was worth it. I'm down another five pounds, and this shirt feels loose on me. And I'm going to be rocking it at the BJCC tonight for the one and only Nate Bargatze's sold-out performance. Because I feel like I've got a bit of star power of my own right now. 31 pounds down, 64 to go. And I know that with God, all things are possible. Even wearing a silly shark shirt at the start of summer.

Great progress! I like the post overall! I wonder if a little more showing rather than telling might improve it even more. E.g. โ€œThe first time I wore it, I looked in the mirror, I lowered my head and I thought to myself โ€œI look like [โ€ฆ.]โ€

@Dave Hughes Pretty quiet to be honest, but a big part of that is that quite a few of the members are not target audience!

@Dave Hughes I spent my first couple of months on Skool building relationships with other community owners, and a fair few of them joined to support me but they don't need what I am offering at all.
Roasters, I come to you for Help
I need you to roast my new Thumbnail for my Skool, I'm doing a new one, and trying to implement 3 things. 1. Have my photo on it 2. Have more representation of the Balkan countries 3. Have a specific short sentence that best covers what the Skool is all about. I have not yet uploaded it, so I'll attach it here as I'm still in Canva tinkering, and would appreciate your thoughts, opinions, and advice.

I wonder if you could remove "Abroad" - simplify it to Move to the Balkans! You could also do a poll in your community and get feedback and input from them, as they are the people who joined - which would reflect what they joined for best.
Help me shape my life [This is a Big One]
Hello all you amazing BBQ lovers. This is a massive roast, and I am sure that I'm doing all this wrongโ€ฆnonetheless I need help. This is a long one...so take your time! In this moment I have to bet on one thing only and focus on that "thing" only. I wish I knew what...and here is where you "smokey charcoal lovers" come into play. โžก๏ธ OPTIONS: 1. ๐Ÿ”ฅ I stay on Skool and start teaching over 30 years of my experience as a Creative Director and director of Photography, giving all I got to bring over three decades of working with the biggest brands on earth here in classes on Skool in courses that will have to sustain me (if I go broke there is no internet to upload classes to Skool); 2. ๐Ÿ’ป Stick to my Job, or apply on LinkedIn for a new one, (yes I did quit, but an offer came through) so I have a chance to go back and work in the company that I built from scratch making bare minimum; yet filming more shows, editing more shows, web design, print, etc etc etc... with the false sense of security, or endlessly applying to new job offers (but I do not want to skew your decision); 3. ๐Ÿ’ธ Start a whole new business (without many funds remaining) and that would mean leave everything and go and hunt for clients, sales, advertising my business, and be a sole proprietor and eventually hire some help to ease the load. But this is a tough one. ๐Ÿ™ PLEASE... Please take your time as this is truly important and I would love for all of you not to jump in and giving a superficial opinion based on your experience, but use *your experience* to roast my website (not finished and in the works); roast my shows (so have a glass of ๐Ÿท wine...or two, and enjoy the ๐Ÿ“ฝ๏ธDocuSeries) as I filmed, edited, coloured, soundFX, scores, produced, and delivered to majot VOD (Prime, Roku, Pluto, etc etc.); roast my past career (LinkedIn) and... TELL ME WHAT YOU WOULD DO, LINKS TO CHECK My Website (work-in-progress) http://aeternummentis.com/ My Shows a few samples as I produced over 30 episodes (Private Link)

I wonder if there is an opportunity to take a step back and think about your overall mission. What is the core mission that everything contributes to you? On LinkedIn you close your bio by saying: "I believe the future belongs to creators who can bridge artistry, strategy, technology, and authentic human storytelling. That is where my heart has always been." Does that mean your mission is to make it easier for those creators to do that? Or is your mission to create in such a way that others are inspired to go on that journey for themselves? Or is your mission to impact a certain type of people/environment through creativity? These are just examples, but having clarity of your overall mission will then allow you to think about what "quest" you want to go on now that will help you continue on the journey towards achieving (if that is an appropriate word) your mission.
Roast my pitch, please
Hi all! I welcome your feedback... I have a free community (started 6 months ago) where I teach you how to make your mind work for you, not against you. 175 members, good engagement metrics, climbing discovery, About Page converting around 22%. Some social proof. I want to monetize it. I posted an offering: A Virtual Vision Board Party (Weds. 5/27) - sent an email, too - no takers thus far. So I had an idea... Launch into freemium with a no-brainer offer: $7/month for premium that includes the party and a monthly masterclass going forward. Also, a monthly group coaching call with me. Thinking of a VIP tier w/a 90 minute 1:1 with me for a ridiculously low $600/year, just to get some MRR flowin'.

It might be worth getting the first cohort of people to sign up for free, but on the basis that they commit to giving feedback or a testimonial? Gives you the opportunity to test it, get feedback, gather specific social proof for that offer and to ask what people would pay for it once they've gone through it?
