A Quick question
Hello everyone, I’d love to get some insights from people who are already experienced in email writing. What are the key things you focus on to increase the reply rate from like 4% to 30% ? Are there any kind of specific strategies, messaging styles, or small details that made a noticeable difference for you? Would really appreciate learning from your experience.

I tend to make my newsletters a bit like roundups with a medley of opportunities and resources and tend to write to my audience at least once a week - but mine are mentorships so they are highly invested but that same mindset of being of service to your audience so they grow and prosper because of their relationship with you.
Don't take anything for granted - Top 1% position slipped
I was feeling quite good about myself, having been named by Favikon as a top 1% influencer worldwide on LinkedIn. Then my position slipped to 2%. I realize that the role of influence is constant. We can't hold a top spot if we don't show up with consistency, value, and keep improving our creator game every day. I am kind of competitive, so now I am redoubling my efforts to reclaim that top spot while also seeing if I can nudge my other statistics forward. I'm happy to endorse Favikon here, as it is great for gamifying and providing a full dashboard of your metrics and your value to brands. I have found it so useful that I've become a Favikon Partner to grow more intentionally as a creator and influencer in my niche. If you are serious about monetization, it is truly a game-changing platform.

BIG WIN!!!
I know the value of building our own brand channels, content and communities. But one of the things we also need to consider as we grow is our ability to step on to other people's stages. I just got booked on one of the larger YouTube stages (150K subscribers) in my ecosystem. I will be giving a 1 hour talk on 3/26. I am not sharing the link since this isn't the right audience for the topic I'll be speaking about -- but I just want to remind you about the power of collaboration and stepping on to larger stages to grow your own. I hope that gives you some inspiration.
BIG WIN!!!

@Varad Ima I think of myself more as someone who just loves to do public skilling and build community around tech and resilience training and adoption. I am definitely an opportunity hunter and love to share those opportunities with my community.
Now a word on compliance (paid influencer)
Hi Everyone, I am 8 weeks from finishing law school with an MSL (Master of Studies in Law), and one of my classes is in Digital Media Transactions. This article came from this week's lesson about FTC social media influencer disclosure requirements. I'd love to know who applies this to their regular practice or your thoughts about it related to ambassador roles, affiliate links, and paid sponsorship: https://www.ftc.gov/business-guidance/resources/disclosures-101-social-media-influencers I share mostly so we can discuss best practices with each other as we are or are growing to become monetized influencers and content creators. Best, Philippa

At first I thought my audience would be annoyed if I put #ad or #sponsored but then realized that they would actually be cheering for me especially when the brands I choose to endorse are so closely aligned with my mission and values and I am demonstrating transparency and authenticity.

Now time to go get those brands.
Another day - another idea: Online events
One model that has been working quite well for me is collaborative events. I set them up either on Luma or Eventbrite and host them either on Teams or Streamyard to YouTube Livestream, sometimes both. It builds audience, engagement, content, and the ability to repurpose to others videos, shorts, blogs, mini-books, and social media posts. Here are a few examples both past and upcoming related to my interests: https://luma.com/kzmi9bft, https://luma.com/oxqaew4q, https://luma.com/qseewhdv, https://luma.com/fc570gca, and https://luma.com/j1xz5d0g. Just a thought to help inspire you!

And you all sort of introduce yourself in the first session and co-moderate for each other throughout as they are available.

@Deacon Nick I think when you create a platform for other speakers you get more visibility and more audience. But to be honest if only a few people show up live it's of little consequence because now you have tons of content you can edit into other videos and shorts, and easily transcribe and load into AI for assistance writing blogs, mini-books, reports, ebook, etc. -- and again 5 people invested in preparing, marketing, presenting, and sharing post-event resources. And if you use Streamyard the speakers can also simulstream to their own YouTube and Linkedin. I actually have someone in mind who would make a great co-host with me for what I drafted as your cybersecurity session -- and I'd be happy to host and produce this with you, and take the cybersecurity session -- and 100% confident you could even source the other speakers from this group.
