HOMEWORK! Have your say!
What's a skool without homework right? There was a statement made that has bothered me. "I'd love to try WCP for this, but it looks so busy. I've been noodling, doodling, piddling and playing with some UI changes but wanted to get everyone who actually uses it a say in where we go. (I even Promised this---I think). your homework assignment (and I'm questioning my sanity here a bit): Go through the Tour in the lower left hand corner first. Print out, download and bring into your favorite art program, circle number markup describe what changes would make it easier or simpler to use. Bear in mind this is a web app, so there are some User interface Limitations involved because of html and CSS and functionality will win out over a change that slows things down or makes it harder to use. You can copy /paste from another program or app that has something you like or works better their way. Take a camera shot or scan your ideas in and either post them here or send them to [email protected] I will take all submissions and try to compile them into a couple of choices for each area and present them for discussion next week. My current thought for an immediate change would be to add a HELP button in the upper right corner next to the user ID that would have the chat, tour, and SOS/More form the lower left corner, the quick start, feedback, manual, contact info all under one Help menu Moving "Notebook" into a post-it looking icon next to the 3 bars that hide the binder Making Series/Book/Folder in the Binder more Hierarchal in appearance and Function all with rollup buttons. Unless you have a truly incredible idea for workflow I have zero plans to lose the basic three pane functionality Binder/Editor/AI Skillrooms Just looking to make it cleaner/more functional/easier to use and learn

Hi! I have been using the app very heavily since I came into this community. And I personally love it. I don’t feel it is too busy. But that’s a personal preference, in my opinion. So with that I wonder if items could not be selected to have viewable by user preferences. For example, I will probably not use the Panatop timer, and if, as a user, I can select to remove it from my view, that would be nice. But then again, I just ignore what I don’t need. That is truly my feedback after writing a book in the app and having plans to work on draft two there this week.

@Michael Culp oh I don’t think any of the back up items are useless. I forgot to back up several chapters and had to rewrite. Thank you for putting in things (and reminders) about backup. For me, a little lesson learned in my workflow. Ohhhh I am excited about the Marketing Skills. 🥳

Honestly, I don’t need anything but more time. I do have this week off from work, so after today, my travel day, I will be more present during the day in between writing and walks on the beach, if anyone needs help. I am not saying I can help! lol but I am willing to try. This has been a super learning journey for me. 📚📚📚📚💕💕💕📚💕

Welcome to New Members! Give these folks a great welcome and make them feel at home! This classroom is for anyone wanting to learn or write with AI help! Not Automations. We want to help you get the words out of your head and get your books published! Introduce yourself, share who you are, what you're working on, how we can help. @Tamara Donesky @Tara D This is also the support site for WordCrafter.Pro a very different (but familiar in ways) writing app with built-in Skill Rooms populated with Personas to help you work the details out and get writing. It's like walking into a writer's room for a television show and having several experts to talk out your ideas and help create your world, your characters, a story bible, outline and get the book written, edited, create additional merchandise and extras to go along with the book and the best part, a full marketing plan!

Show and Tell Sunday!
Tell us a out what you are working on or have been working on this week. Or at least give us a peak. If you need accountability partners to keep going just ask! **** I'm continuing to fight with OBS for quality recordings of classes Reworking the whole class page Editting the Manual files Helping users understand WordCrafter.Pro adding, tweaking, and updating WCP as folks send me needs and requests Because there is a limit to what I can do while away from my desk with some of that list I ummm.... Did a thing on my phone yesterday that I might be able to preview below here shortly. Dealing with the administrivia of life, three teenage boys, and 3 separate businesses I don't sleep much or often. ADHD can be a superpower (sometimes) ****

I finished my first draft of book one in my series. I will be reading it this week and starting to edit. It’s really a second draft. But I am calling it my first since it is heavily changed with using AI. I plan to continue BIAM this week, but will be out of town for vacation so we will see if I get to the live sessions. I have my story for that as well.

@Michael Culp I am very happy about my progress. My overall goal is to get all three books written and ready to publish by the end of this year. 💕📚📚💕
Totally Tuesday!
So i've basically been ill for the last three days and pushing through it with a nasty sinus infection. I spent half of today resting and the other half adding what I think might be the best totally necessary two weeks ago feature. A freakin MANUAL. OMG. it's extensive and detailed and hidden quite cleverly at the top of the Binder. Please read the Preamble, to learn "Michael's Rule of Manuals". This technique is a decades old secret I have passed on to anyone who has ever tried to read a manual and ended up looking haggard with eyes glazed understanding less than when they started. The Quick Start is there if you think you know what you are doing and the rest is all there. I will be doing a line by line edit of it starting tomorrow as there are some things that are a bit off. Claude and the nonfiction room are good but nothing like a full read through by someone who actually uses it. This is actually version 9 since I started and will be the canonical master copy ongoing. There will eventually be a print addition, but probably not before I hire a better graphic designer than I am (not a very high bar to reach). Screenshots and graphics will be added as well. There are call outs for screenshots already in the text but please let me know if you think others should be added as well. I've already found a few and made hasty notes on my handy dandy Notepad also cleverly hidden in the Binder. If you hit a snag somewhere reading through you need me to address ask and I'll jump to that section and add the graphics needed there . I built this in the Binder so I can edit it live and work with it just like the live document it is. Please critique this, let me know if there is more (or less) that you need. I published it rough ths way because of some of the questions I have been asked recently. I should be able to add links here to videos elsewhere to explain things better as well, **** And if you have read this far I did make it into BIAM this month and will be running through it like everyone else, Just with WCP to see how well it works with Colm's method. I'll post here and on Storyhackers about it.
Totally Tuesday!

@Kathleen Osborne I put the prompts into World Craft Pro app, and ran them with my genre. If you want to see a way to do that, @Michael Culp put a classroom up with a video. 😊
