Real question. What did you eat today?
Real question. What did you eat today? Before a dawn patrol, eat something small rather than paddling out on empty. A banana or something light is plenty. And after a session or a workout, get some protein and carbs in within a couple of hours. That's when your body does the rebuilding. Your turn. Drop it below: - What you ate today - Did you surf or train? - How you felt out there No judgment. If your lunch was a gas station burrito, post it. I'll jump in on a few and give you one easy thing to tweak. The program has two nutrition guides, Leaner and Lighter and Performance and Recomp. If you want a full plan, it's in there.

I usually drink a glass of warm water right after I wake up. I will make it point to eat something before the dawn patrol. How about dried mix nuts? Would be OK?
Welcome to Surf Longevity 🤙
Stoked you're here. This is the place for surfers who want to train smart, stay healthy, and keep surfing well for a long time. Three things to do right now: 1. Introduce yourself in the comments. Where you surf, how long you've been at it, your age, and one thing you'd like to fix in the water. 2. Head to the Classroom and read Start Here and you'll know how everything works. 3. Say hello to a couple of other people below. The ones who post in here are the ones who stick with it. See you in the classroom! Lets get to WORK! Shane

Hi! P I am Take. I’m 62 years old and have been surfing since I was 16. I live in Zushi Kanagawa Japan. I try to surf 4–5 days a week, but in reality, it's usually less than that. Need more strength for the popup.
Typhoon #30
Hi from Japan! Typhoon #30 is approaching the Japanese coast, which is crazy! But at my home break the waves aren't as good as I expected. Swell direction is probably the key. Hope to have more south-west swell tomorrow.
