Magic Circle Crochet Tool
I made my own! Yippee! Don’t know why I couldn’t get the yarn to wrap around my fingers correctly, but after watching a video of person using this tool and looking on Amazon to see how much it would cost, I said I can do this. 1st attempt - I used a prescription bottle with a rubber band. It worked, but was kind of awkward, so I thought it could be easier. Although I didn’t need another circle right now, thought I should practice again to let my process sink in. 2nd attempt - I used the toilet tissue tube, cut a couple of slits in it to hold the yarn, then cut a section where I would be putting the crochet hook through. Tried making a video, but it didn’t work. Here are my results. @Chantell Block

I FINALLY FOUND IT!
I’m so excited, happy, sad, a lot of emotions all rolled up together. I found my Mom’s “Learn How Book” (basic steps for beginners) price 29 cents, copyright year 1959, so I was a mere 8 years old at the time. Book is like new with the exception of what looks like a few coffee/tea/ or Coca Cola stains and the edges of some pages folded over, I guess as a bookmark! As I skimmed through the book I remember the doilies Mom made, handkerchiefs, guest towels where Mom used tatting and embroidery stitches and so much more, I could go on and on thinking about the wonderful memories I made with Mom during our 68 years together. The book is a quick reminder of the crochet stitches that Mom taught me and I do believe Mom would be proud of what I am doing now. What I didn’t find in the book though was instructions on how to do that darn magic circle, 🥴 so back to watching more videos I go so I can get this teddy bear beanie finished!

The magic circle is the worst. Everytime I do it I have to watch slow motion YouTube videos. 😆

I’m a B with A only one answer behind. Though some answers could have been several choices depending on my mood.
