Should I niche down to ADHD entrepeneurs?
Roast my Idea That wasn't my initial intention, but everyone I show my offer on Guruless Business Builders and specially the Roasty Flow app tell me it's perfect for ADHD. I don't want to overcomplicate the premisse, but maybe that niching down will increase my authority. And the whole community premisse is also fit for it. You're too overwhelmed trying to do everything at once and can't focus on doing the one thing you need to? There are coworking sessions and public accountability for that. We figure out what your next steps should be and your overall goals in round table conversations. By listening to you, not pushing generic frameworks you need to study. The app offers a private accountability feauture. You plan your day by registering taks you need to do, inside goals that have a set date to finish. And the tasks can be linked to a website, so the app registers if you're actually working on it, instead of getting distracted with other stuff. The tracking only happens if you start focus sessions that can be enabled with a pomodoro counter so you remember to take heathy breakes. And the dashboard registers your recurring focus score throught the days. And you can also take writen notes and screeenshots in your sessions without overwhelming yourself by openning notepads and other document editors and organize them in a way you can easily find and use later. Stuff like DM scripts, diaries, post drafts and study notes. I'm already using it to learn arabic and screenshoting words and full sentences from video classes is very useful. What do you think @Brian Walsh @Julie Winge and @Steve Cobble ? Is that a good solution to advertize for ADHDers?

Ok but clarification… do you want to appeal to actual clinically-diagnosed ADHD adults, or self-diagnosed (all of us nowadays lol)?

@Dave Hughes this is a good balance, for sure. I didn’t think about the search aspect! Keeping SEO in mind for Skool’s search engine. I appreciate the reminder about cross-posting too: Don’t wanna come off as spammy, that has its own set of consequences 🤓 I will try a few more and compare! This has been helpful to see situations in which it would or wouldn’t work. Thanks Dave! 🫡
cover cover cover!!
Hey everybody, I have a community called Jedi Calm and a lot of people know me for that. But I have another that I just started. AMPLUENCE Narrow your focus. Amplify your influence. Here's a snippet of what it's about: You know that one tiny thing that keeps getting in the way of what you know you’re capable of? In Ampluence, we find it and work with it. Expertise deepens, influence grows, and there's more room for the work and life you love. Calm, precise focus and bespoke support for the work only you can do. I’ve been playing with covers because the initial one showed narrowing and amplifying, but didn’t have my face. I’d love your eyes on these. Which one gives you the strongest sense of that invitation and makes you curious to look inside? Tell me your favorite and what draws you to it. 🥰

A face on the cover is already a great start! I think it's a great pose and expression too. I'm curious about what the drops are supposed to "mean"... Like, are they dew drops signifying calm and renewal? Also, if I were just to go off the words on the cover, my questions are: My focus... on what? On work? On educational niche? In life? Influence... over what? Others in general? On social networks? At work? In life? In my Family? I want to know "Is this for me?" and "What problem is it solving?"

Interesting indeed! With that in mind I think that the one with the door is the most intriguing for me because it hints at something glorious and exciting beyond. Like, if that’s what focus will “unlock” for me, it’s waiting on the other side. 🚪
Image or VSL first? Roast my about page
I wanted to record a VSL for AI Teammate Lab so people can see me and create some motion on the about page. I recorded it and then had AI do some editing. Then I did some more and left it. Received a message this morning to let me know that my VSL was unedited. 🤣 So I decided I would apply my knew experience with Grok Bot and agents and decided to level it up a bit. Sent some styles I liked for long form and short form visuals and then created an editor bot with one job: Make my VSL suck less haha Definitely a major upgrade, but now I need your help to roast my about page and also let me know your thoughts if I should lead with the image or the vsl? Maybe even change my animated thumbnail. Open to all suggestions and thoughts. Let me feel the burn. AI Teammate Lab: https://www.skool.com/ai-teammate-lab-9763/about

@Brian Walsh ah yeah that’s very interesting. Like playing to each models strengths. I would like to see a short version of this video on your Skool about page too since the “Job Card” angle is an easy-to-understand differentiator over the other AI groups. As a first time viewer, the “Job Card” idea piqued my interest because it sounds like a technique (which it is) that not many people are talking about, or don’t describe in that way.

The expert problem
[ROAST MY LESSON]: Another day, another rant If you're a consultant, like most people here are, you problably feel like you need to be seen as a flawless expert by your audience and leads. And let me tell you, that will slow you down a lot. If the narrative that you're telling people is that you're an expert who totally has everything figured out on your niche than you're competing with the top players who, unlike you, have the numbers to back up their claims. But if you're honest with yourself and your followers, and tell them that you're still figuring out stuff, and invite them to figure out with you, your content will be much more honest, interesting and relatable. What does that look like? Instead of 'Secret formulas" and "Definitive Guides", you make "I tried 20 mailmarketing tools, here are my favorites", "I tried meta ads with a 20 dollar budget and here are the results" and stuff like that. The same goes for people who are not on business niches. I honestly love joining communities with people who are honest about their journeys.

I like this a lot. I’m doing it in my group and associated YouTube channel. Even though I’ve done the work and am living the life that I want to promote, nobody will believe anything but # of followers on IG or YT. 😅 So this is great for growing those channels with content that is appropriate to the size of the channel.
