Leg Yielding
When working with students on leg yielding, the question always comes up on what seatbone to weight. āž”ļø If you are leg yielding to the left, what seatbone do you put more weight in? āž”ļø Hint in picture https://youtube.com/shorts/ILXR-nYP1kk?is=h9BFNu_e86dmGEQM

Wouldn't it be a little more to the left since you're trying to travel to the left, and vise versa?
Walk to Canter Transitions
How does biomechanics help to achieve clean walk to Canter transitions?

Knowing what action influences what movement, really helps everything flow smoother. Like the outside leg and seat bones helps get you from walk to canter, and you also need those aids to be clear, otherwise your horse is gonna get confused on what you're asking
Biomechanics and Jumping
I have never been a fan of the modern crest release and jumping forward on the horse's neck. Biomechanically, this is never a good idea. Not only for the ride or getting out of balance, but also for making it more difficult for the horse to carry the rider. āž”ļø What do you think? https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1b6b7adqEL/

I agree, Im not gonna lie, I always thought it looked like the rider was trying to duck from something above them, also wouldn't the modern crest release be harder to get out of and get yourself upright at the end of the jump? And what would happen when something goes wrong, wouldn't all your weight be forward, which would make it easier to fall off?
Unpopular Opinion
There has always been a rif between Western and English riders. The people are different, along with attitude and expectations. I say, as long as you are safe and care well for the horse, it doesn't matter. What do you think? https://www.facebook.com/share/v/18hsM7DDEr/

I agree with you, honestly I dont think the rif should even exist, we're all two sides of the same coin, I love both, and they both have their pros and cons, I think its just a bit childish and weird to have a rif in the first place šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind for me with the house buying experience. We are now on our 3rd house we made an offer on. šŸ¤žšŸ¤žšŸ¤ž they accept. What wins have you had recently?
