Publishing your book is only step one. The next challenge is getting the right reader to actually STOP, click, and want to know more. Here are 3 things that can help: 1. Your Cover Your cover is usually the first thing a reader notices. It needs to immediately communicate the genre, topic, and overall feeling of the book. A beautiful cover that doesn't match what readers expect can still hurt your sales. 2. Your Title + Subtitle Your title should create curiosity, clearly communicate a benefit, or make the reader feel like, “This book is for me.” For nonfiction especially, your subtitle can do a lot of the heavy lifting by explaining exactly what problem your book helps solve. 3. Your Book Description Once you've earned the click, your description needs to close the gap. Don't just summarize the book. Speak directly to the reader. Highlight their problem, what they want, and how your book can help them get there. Think of it like this: Cover = Stop the scroll Title = Get the click Description = Make them want the book You can write an amazing book, but if these three pieces aren't working together, your ideal reader may never give it a chance. 👇 Which one do you think authors struggle with the most: the cover, title, or description?

I decided to create a custom AI pet, and it chose an owl for me. Of course, I had to turn it pink because that’s much more my vibe. 😂 What’s even funnier is that it named the owl Quill, which is the same name as @Dr. John Elcik AI tool! I’m still figuring out all the practical benefits, but I like being able to quickly access ChatGPT from whatever screen I’m working on. The little animations are pretty cute too. You can create a pet based on almost any idea or vision you have. I haven’t done a lot of customization yet, but you can also have it give you reminders and alert you when something needs your attention. Do you have an AI pet yet?
